I just want to say many writers and actors say things in interviews to not give anything away from the upcoming storyline. Nina's interview does not surprise me. Any interview 你 read and they are so tight-lipped about DE. They aren't going to mention anything, because then where will the surprise be? The buzz? The excitement once the episode has aired? That's what the writers want, and they aren't going to give spoilers... especially when it comes to DE.
