I enjoyed the Damon and Bonnie scenes at the beginning of this season because I like everything with Damon involved best, and because I didn’t like much of what went on in the “real” world back then. But although I thought their bickering funny and even preferred them mentioning their loved ones, and although I always like Damon interacting with others (no matter with whom), I also find their bonding forced and stopped caring about Bonnie’s storyline as soon as Damon left “her” world. But I expect us to get great moments of Delena working together (also with Jeremy) in the 下一个 episode to get Bonnie back, and I really look 前锋, 期待 to even 更多 amazing DE scenes than what we already had. 一年多以前

Isn't this Caroline Dries polite way of saying that Bamon will only be friends, so they should just be happy with that and stop badgering her, because no matter how much they want Bamon, it will and cannot ever happen because in order to give them Bamon, Elena would have to not exist first, Damon would have to have something of a personality switch, and the writers would have to go back to the beginning of the 显示 and re-write the whole thing. 一年多以前

I would prefer Elena as her complete self for a change, though I still 爱情 the beautiful Delena scenes like always, and it really is nice that Elena falls for Damon again and that he starts to also see his good sides; but that is completed for me now, while I in general think that storylines like that shouldn’t last longer than the third of a season for those who don’t like them. 一年多以前

Delena sometimes earn some happiness after what they have to go through, before they have to deal with new obstacles to deserve another happy phase, and that will continue until their final eternal happiness together in the end. The writers wouldn’t allow them to be restlessly happy for one and a half season – 或者 even longer –, but DE will never lose each other. They will have to deal with lots of things that are thrown in their way, but Delena always survive and only get closer with every mastered obstacle, and they will be endgame for good at the end of all of the drama. 一年多以前

Yeah, that storyline is really repetitive and forced! We repeatedly had Elena not remembering good things about Damon, Elena not being herself 或者 her complete self and even already an amnesia storyline just the 年 before. And while we usually can explain the bad timing with interference from the universe, like we explain Delena parallels with them being twin flames, there is no such explanation for Kai getting in contact with Damon and Bonnie almost exactly when Elena asks to be compelled. And even considering the doppelganger spell interference, there is just TOO MUCH bad timing at once right after Damon’s return. I am just glad that he came back before Elena got the chance to get 更多 involved with Liam – if she ever would –, but everything only seems to happen exactly how it serves the intentions of the writers best. 一年多以前

But there are still the hints, signs and parallels that lead to the DE endgame, we have like always beautiful and amazing Delena moments, and there are even other things that we can enjoy. I personally 爱情 Damon and in general like his interactions with everybody, and in the memory loss storyline, I enjoyed Elena risking her life to get her memories back, Damon saving her again, him describing scenes from their past to her, and him again being willing to selflessly give her up and put her first – although she undoubtedly is better off WITH him. And I like how Nian can still keep the general DE chemistry and understanding while at the same time having Delena struggle to connect again, what creates awkward moments and strange interactions while their deep bond is still noticeable (VERY GREAT PERFORMANCE). 一年多以前

It is furthermore harder to start with the dark phase (that otherwise usually were placed in the 秒 half of a season), when 你 still try to adjust to the new season. There are also again so many new people, places, storylines, situations etc., what gets even worse 由 most of the leading characters not being able to enter Mystic Falls – and its places that we are used to see. A few humans are still left there, and we saw some characters in the 1994 version of MF (“prison world” and flashbacks), but this season so far seems just so “far away” from things before through all of that (especially all of that AT ONCE). 一年多以前

I think the writers are going out of their way this season to get ex TVD 粉丝 (and especially ex DE ones) back. 你 can see they are tying up loose ends they intentionally left dangling in 前一个 seasons (ex. When Elena realized she was in 爱情 with Damon). They also went through DE memory lane twice this season, something they never did before, especially revisiting the first seasons, when DE had 更多 fans. They also buried the 爱情 triangle, and gave Stefan a 粉丝 最喜爱的 character as a 爱情 interest (which they planned at least since the making of season 4). Honestly I think it's great, though I still hate how they brushed off all the problematic aspects of SE's dynamic, even though I know they do it so they won't have to revisit them and put them in the focus. 一年多以前

exactly..such as elena only remembering the bad things damon has done and that's why she can't understand how she ever fell in 爱情 with him while she still has all her memories of all the bad shit stefan did such as threatening to kill her and turn her into a vampire yet she had the biggest 屁股 smile on her face when she finally saw him again and is not questioning herself in the least of how she was able to forgive him. he's alaric's best friend and how many times has he killed him(although after the 1st time he knew he wouldn't stay dead). i suppose they feel as we do that s/e just isn't really worth the effort! 哈哈 一年多以前

meaning that damon is alaric's best friend and alaric was able to forgive damon so that should mean something to elena. i would have liked elena to ask alaric how and why he forgave him just to hear some nice things about damon from someone but hopefully we can get that conversation with bonnie when they find her since she saw a different side of damon and the depth of his 爱情 for elena and i'd like elena to hear that from someone other than damon and especially from someone that probably hated him the most but now cares and understands who he is and always really was. 一年多以前

An opinion i read about the rainkiss and i really liked:
"I am sure, that some people feel disappointed that the rainkiss was a memory and not the moment that Elena got her memories back, but I think that makes it even fancier. It is a memory of a happy time where they promised each other forever, which made it Damon’s 最喜爱的 memory. This memory summarized their whole journey. The rain is a metaphor for all the obstacles they had to endure through time. Every time when they almost abandoned the ship, when they were so close to giving up, they urged to hand on and wait for the rain to pass because it would clear up as long as they stay together. They don’t abandon the ship, they take strength in one another, even when everything around them is falling apart. Elena forgetting her memories is just another rain storm that will pass because angst never stopped them before and it won’t stop them now. They promised each other forever. This was literally a proposal, this is exactly what people do at weddings, they promise to commit to each other forever! 一年多以前

Besides the 文章 and other things dealing with the possibility of a Delena proposal/ wedding/ marriage that we already discussed around here, I a while 以前 saw a picture with the Damon quote “Third time is a charm.”, and it consisted of pics from 3x01 and 4x23 as well as 1x19 and 4x07. It was shown how Damon presented Elena’s 项链 to her in a box and how he presented the cure to her in a box, what indicated that the third time that he will present something in a box to her could be their proposal. And it was shown how Damon watched Elena coming down the stairs before the MMF dance and how he waited for her to come downstairs in the “You.”-scene, what indicated that the third time that Elena will descend stairs to get to Damon, while they are both dressed up, could be their wedding. 一年多以前
