Series Synopsis:

It is the 年 3000. Young Entomologist Dex Hamilton is called upon to help when alien insects that were crawling through the galaxy create a dangerous rift between Humans and bugs. Across faraway galaxies Dex will journey, along with 3 companions, Zap Monogan, Jenny 10 , and Tung, "the fantastic frog-boy."

Dex Hamilton:

18 年 old Dex Hamilton is an entomologist, 或者 a person who studies bugs. He owns the habitat, which his father, Winston Hamiton, had owned before. Winston had disapeared mysteriously, leaving the habitat to his son, Dex. The habitat stores all different kinds of bugs, some big and fierce, and some small and timid. The bugs were captured for studying purposes. Dex is the leader of his crew, and has a broad austraillian accent.

Zap Monogan:

Zap is a half-human, half-insect hybrid. He was found 由 Dex a few months before the t.v. series started. He has a laid-back attitude, which can get on the nerves on the others sometimes, but in a dire situation, he'll always drop the act. He was created 由 an evil scientist from another planet. The scientist had created Zap as a weapon and had used his DNA to create Zap's human side, which is why they look alike. Jenny 10 had even thought that Zap was his son! That was revealed in the episode- Rebirth. Zap's insect side took over him, and he became, what, a monster?! He nearly destroyed the whole city, before Jenny 10 could calm him down. Zap is the strongest of the crew, as well as the crew's pilot. He can grow insect wings when he wishes to. Zap appears to have fallen for Jenny 10, although he probably won't admit it.

Jenny 10:

Jenny was created as part of the "Jenny Project." She works as the mechanic for Dex at the habitat. She creates gadgets that help Dex capture insects on missions. Jenny has always known she was part of the "Jenny Project", but she chose not to tell the crew. When a young girl shows up at the habitat's doorstep, claiming to be her twin, Jenny 10 had to tell the crew about the project, eventually. The project was supposed to 设计 and create 10 genetic clones, each with their unique ability. When disaster struck when they were young, only two Jennys escaped, Jenny 10, and her sister, Jenny 8. Jenny 10 has super intelligence, and Jenny 8 has the abilty to turn invisible, but the other Jenny's abilties were unknown. Jenny 10 has developed strong feelings for Zap throughout the series.

Tung "the fantastic frog boy":

Tung is a half-human, half-frog hybrid from another planet. He has a disgusting hygiene habits, and strange tastes in foods. He can jump long distances and scale walls. Tung also has a very long tounge, as his nickname states. He sometimes gets in trouble for eating the insects that were capture for studying purposes.
