I don't think Stelena is cheesy :/ but that's jmo :) I love the two ships for different reasons. Delena is hot on borderline - CRAZY and well Stelena is cute, strong and well jus SOLID :) I'm picking Stelena tho, as I would prefer it if my shipper heart wasn't broken again :( cz I've got a feeling Delena might fizzle out :( And well I jus don't want Elena to become a rabidly dangerous person or go through loads of drama. I mean, if Delena happens she's always gonna want to keep going back to Stefan cz well a part of her is scared of Damon but with Stelena - she'll be attracted to Damon but will be content on the fact he's bad news. He'll be the bad guy. A big NO-NO. As someone said the other day, you can't spend ur life with someone because you have chemistery with them :)

It's not just chemistry between Damon and Elena samjhart. There is also love and care. Damon himself said that Elena is the only one he wants at his side forever. I think you can spend your life dwelling in the darkness with someone that you love and loves you back but there is also chemistry and lust in your relationship. But hey that is just my opinion.

well... i have never read the books so i really don't know if the show is following the books or not and i don't know how the triangle has turned out but in the series i just had to stick with DE. at first i felt because i thought i was alone with my opinion but well after watching episode 11 i decided that i didn't give crap. *lol* i mean you only need to look at him to be convinced he is so damn hot!!! seriously!! and i just like the chemistry between the two actors. it doesn't mean that i don't like stefan or anything i just think SE is boring news but i guess they are okay. :)

The good guy & good girl fall in love, she develops an attraction/feelings for the bad boy but in the end chooses the good guy cuz hes the safest pick, she loved him first, etc (Bangel, Bill/Sookie, & so on). IMO it isnt predictable if the bad boy ends up with the good girl cuz I dont really recall that ever being done cuz the good guy is the "suitable choice". JMO.

well, I think stelena is the main couple of the tv show and also in the books, damon is the third of this triangle but I dont think delena will be epic as stelena, with delena we have lust, passion, dangerous that is true and well both actors are gorgeous but i dont find enough reasons for become delena the main couple. I love Damon but I love elena for being elena not katherine and well I love katherine because she is a bitch but she always had been, but I dont want Elena become katherine and start to play with stefan and Damon ( well in the books elena is a little bitchy and I dont like her), Elena will always be attracted for Damon but she loves Stefan deal with that, and as second season advanced what I see is elena will break up with stefan because of his feelings for Kat or because well he is a vampire and bla bla. Like I love how Stefan loves her so much, and their relationship because it's just so cute... but I Love Damon& it pains me seeing how much it hurts him, being so in love with Elena but she loves his brother. Damon and Elena. Elena and Stefan didn´t have one single sceene where I thought WOW. That´s really weird, because there are couples I hate, but still they have sceenes that are just so beautiful. But with Stefan and Elena, nothing. I don´t care if he´s the good guy or that Damon is the bad guy (isn´t that bad- he has such a good heart, that he needs to show). I never was like: I like bad boys better or I was never interested in looks (there are some fans who really believe that we just love Damon because of Ian). It´about their story, their characters just fit, their sceenes have that WOW factor, their conection is there and they aren´t rushed. I was so shocked how Stefan and Elena got together in second episode, I don´t like couples who are soo rushed and boring...

I agree with the ninety percent that said Damon and Elena. For one thing, I think that Stefan was just there for her to get over her parents. He was there for her when she was weak. He was good for her for a while but now, she's matured.

Elena has become a much deeper person throughout the series. In my opinion, Damon has much more to offer because he is more mature (esp. when he was talking to Lexi about taking care of Stefan). Stefan, to me, will be stuck in that brooding teenager phase forever.
