It never hurts to have someone around to help 你 - to see how things sound, to edit, 或者 simply to bounce ideas off of. For some people, that's how they get out of ruts when writing.

If I were you, I'd try both and see what helps 你 the most.

I could help you. I am training to be an editor and I have done the same for other would-be authors. But, if 你 want someone closer to home, friends, teachers 或者 family are always good. Maybe ask the most sane 写作 或者 English at your school.
