What happens to a vampire if it can't find blood?

they slowly die. it may be terrible, but its true.

Different stories/legends say different things. To some, they slowly starve and die, sometimes turning into a living skeleton (Spike says this to Giles on Buffy), sometimes turning to ash, sometimes turning to mummies (like on True Blood). Some become rabid and insane (like in Twilight). Some turn back into humans. Some lose their fangs and/or other powers.

It all varies.

In the stories I've read/seen, they become living mummies. They feel pain and agony, but can't movie.

My Buffy knowledge is blanking an this one, but I know it's true for 真爱如血 and Vampire Diaries.

Well, my friend is a vamp, and they just start to turn human. If they dont find blood in the 下一个 hour, they die.

Personally I find it hard to believe that a vampire wouldn't be able to find blood to drink. There's billions of people on our earth and even 更多 animals. There's always someone out there to drink from. Also I believe if they regulary drink blood, especially from healthy people, it will keep them going for a while, even if they can not hunt for a few days.

你 grow weak and after a while your senses go dull. first 你 go blind, most go crazy, then your hearing goes below average, sense of smell goes, paralisis, pain, and then death.

i think that he would shout like anything and run faster and faster to serach a blood if naot he would see a rain deer he would kill him

It keels over and dies..then it turns into a brain-eating zombie ^.^ Just kidding, of course! (Maybe...) It most likely just grows weaker with each passing second.

In the vampire stories that I've read, the 吸血鬼 will usually go insane (House of Night) 或者 they will get weaker and weaker until they eventually collapse and die (Vampire Academy). In some stories (I can't remember which ones) a vamps body will start eating itself until they eventually die of starvation, kind of like when a human can't find food. Sometimes not drinking any blood makes the vampire turn back into a human.

But I always liked the idea that the vampire's powers drain, and they get weaker and weaker and then die.
