Nat was busy one 日 in the restaurant when her mom walked in the kitchen. " Nat, why don't 你 take the rest of the 日 off?" Crystal said. Nat looked at her crazily," What? Why? 你 know I'm the only cook in the restaurant, right?" Crystal smiled at her," You've been busy all week, and it's a slow day. I think I can handle a couple of orders if anyone does come in. Go and relax." Nat sighed, " Fine, but since it's a slow day. I'll see 你 at 首页 once 你 two get done." Nat took off her 围裙 and threw away her gloves and left the building. " No fair! Why does Nat get to get off early?! I want to leave early too!", Flare whined. " Nat's been busy all week. Decides, since it's just 你 and me, after work I'll get 你 some ice cream. Sound fair?" Crystal asked. " Alright! Sounds fair to me!" Flare cheered.~
~Nat didn't know what to do. Usually when she gets off work, she reads a chapter of her book and then watches T.V. until it's time for her to cook dinner. She doesn't usually have much time to do much of anything. She didn't have any friends, so she didn't have anyone to hangout with. On weekends, she did things with Crystal and Flare, like go to the public pool 或者 go on a picnic. Sometimes, she goes out to the middle of the forest to daydream. Maybe I'll go do that, for some peace and quiet. Nat thought and headed for the forest. When she got there, it seemed 更多 quiet than normal. She walked to her 最喜爱的 spot, which was a small grassy opening with a large weeping willow 树 above her, 下一个 to a small pond. She lied down and stared at the deep blue sky through the small vines of the weeping willow. She started to daydream and then fell asleep, like she always did.~
~~Tiny watched as the strange red 狐狸 walked into her woods. What's she doing here? She doesn't come here this early. What's she up to... The red 狐狸 couldn't see Tiny, because Tiny like to travel 由 the 树 tops. She followed the strange 狐狸 to the place she fell asleep at. The 狐狸 laid down and stared at the sky and then fell asleep. Tiny always wanted to ask the 狐狸 why she came here and where she came from. But she was scared that the 狐狸 girl might attack her, like the last people who came and started cutting down her trees. She told them to stop, but they laughed at her and threw rocks at her. She hated those people, but she knew this 狐狸 girl was not one of those people. One day, when the girl was about to sleep, there was a loud crash. The girl immediately got up and ran to the crash and so did Tiny. A large branch had fallen and landed on the leg of a deer. Tiny was about to rescue it, when the 狐狸 girl picked up the large branch to help the deer. She made sure the deer's leg was ok and then fell asleep under the tree. Tiny wanted to meet this girl, so she jumped down and tried to wake her up," Hey, 你 狐狸 girl wake up!" She 说 in a small voice. She didn't budge," Hey! Wake up! I want to talk to you!" Tiny 说 louder.
