There are lots of characters that I really like in theory (like, their personality, their character development/regression, etc) but when I'm actually watching them or reading them in action I'm just like yeah I... don't like you :/

Belle French from OUAT and Octavia Blake from the 100 are who I'm thinking of right now, but there's probably more. Clara Oswald, kinda, and maybe Dumbledore too. Octavia in particular is such a cool character that I really want to love her. But she irritates tf out of me.

Many. I guess the most visceral one for me is L from Death Note. Always seemed so cool, but ends up supremely disappointing.

That main girl from 13 Reasons Why. I thought I would relate or understand/be on her side but holy shit what a brain numbing character. No offense to anyone who likes the show or relates to her but I couldn't stand her, thus the show in general too.

Hmmm, Sera from Dragon Age: Inquisition. Wanted to like her, maybe I like parts of her, but she just irked me more often than not.

Terra from Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. I wanted to like him but he just kept being so bland.
