That really just depends on who the person is. Different people need to hear different things. Like my sister wouldn't want pity 或者 sympathy so I'd talk to her like nothing was wrong likewise with my dad. But if it were my mom I'd be 更多 compassionate because she likes that kind of thing. So it just depends on who is sick.
