Do 你 also celebrate May 日 as a public holiday dedicated to the working people everywhere in your own country?

I heard that in some countries such as USA people DON'T celebrate May 日 at all, instead they have their own public holiday called the Labour 日 which is celebrated in September, 或者 is it the October perhaps, I'm not sure.Let me know if that's true!

Well, 你 heard correctly. In New Zealand, we don't have a holiday on the first of May, but we do celebrate Labour 日 in October.

@legend_of_roxas I must say I'm rather surprised 你 never heard of a May 日 before. My BF Seán is a RC much like yourself (he's Irish!) & he told me that on 1st of May all the Catholics worldwide already celebrate St.Joseph the Worker as a patron saint.
