If 你 avoid talking to your 老友记 for months 或者 weeks, does it make 你 a bad friend/person?

This has been troubling me an awful lot and I want to get it solved and settled.

If 你 had for example a good number of 老友记 online 或者 reality and 你 never get to talk 或者 communicate with them for weeks 或者 months due to unfortunate events 或者 because 你 don't want to be a creeper, stalker, annoyance, etc. does it 或者 does it not make 你 a bad person/friend?
