Ideas

So my crush invited me to the local swimming pool and told me to invite some of my 老友记 and I really want to go but I hate wearing my 泳装, 游泳衣 in front of anyone, like seriously the only people who have seen me in my swimmers are my really close friends. I was thinking we could all go to the shopping mall 或者 somewhere else but how do I suggest that instead of the swimming pool? What should my excuse be for not being able to go to the pool?
