日本动漫 are actually 动画片 that are aimed at teens, have a plot, and have much better art style than several American cartoons. Compare SpongeBob to Death Note 或者 FMA 或者 Soul Eater and tell me which has the better art style.
And honey, my mom was watching cartoon in the 60's. Both versions of 动画片 have been around for much longer than this decade. I mean, check out 犬夜叉 and Ranma. They're pretty old.

i used to be a HUGE 粉丝 of anime... but then i fell in 爱情 with david bowie but i still find them ok. and plus the first ever 矢追 日本漫画 made was in the 70s. just putting it out there.
anyway, i still highly reccomend D.N.Angel :)

Anyway I 爱情 both of them. They both have their bad points and good points but I 总体, 整体 like both of them.

All Anime...... Only Anime..... And yeah seriously 2000's!?! I mean pokemon was around in 1998, so thats already proof....

日本动漫 has been around WAY longer than 你 说 it was. Also, when 你 look at it on a technical level, 动画片 and 日本动漫 are one and the same, since 'anime' is basically just a cartoon from japan.

Anyways, I 爱情 anime. Always have ever since Sailor Moon, and always will. Sure, there's some really bad 日本动漫 *coughPrincessTutucough*, but those are very rare, at least for me.

As for american cartoons, they're just as awesome. I especially 爱情 动画片 based off of Marvel franchises like 蜘蛛 Man, X-Men, and Silver Surfer. Of course, I will be the first to admit that when Toonami died, 动画片 started going down the shitter. However, I do think that they're getting better with shows like MLP: Friendship is Magic, 变形金刚 Prime, and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

日本动漫 has actually been around since WWII.... and 日本动漫 is 更多 complex and 更多 mature than your average Scooby-Doo, but they have an 日本动漫 for every age.
