Why is it that...?

Why is it that 你 can go on and on on your Wii, Cellphone, Computer, 图书 to read, etc 'till, like, the 下一个 day!
But when 你 do your homework you're exhausted after thirty minutes?

I know the first things are fun and the homework isn't, but still... it's weird...
