It can be painful, loving someone who doesn't 爱情 你 and all that, but I think it's a kind of beautiful sadness as opposed to ugliness. I don't think it's ugly because it's still a passionate, honest emotion, and unless it's a case of stockholm syndrome 或者 something, I don't find an emotion that pure to be ugly. My opinion. :)

I don't think the world is ugly. It's just ugly what we're doing to it.

No, not 'this world' as in the earth. 'This world' as in the world as a whole. People, society etc.
