Marlene sat in the quarters provided for her; Blowhole had to arrange a trip and guards for his lair, and had placed her here, guarded 由 four lobsters, so that she wouldn’t try to escape.
Not that she was going to even attempt something like that; she fingered the 领, 衣领 around her neck. She had already tried to find a way to remove it, but there were no buckles 或者 clips to undo. Saying that the knowledge she had a non-removable bomb around her neck unnerved her would be a gross understatement.
And what irony; the one time she would have very much liked for Skipper to 显示 up to help her out of a sticky situation, he doesn’t. She was going to have to give him a stern talking to 下一个 time she saw him. Provided she ever saw him again.
What a 日 so far. This morning, she was spring cleaning. Now she was a prisoner of a megalomaniac 海豚 with an explosive around her throat.
Speaking of megalomaniac dolphins, there was the son of a gun himself. He had entered her room, rostrum in the air like some sort of smartass. Which he probably was; most of the dolphins she had known were smartasses to some extent.
“I hope 你 are prepared for your journey,” he stated.
“Sure, but…” Marlene bit her lip. “…there’s just one problem. See, last time I went outside –“
“—you turned into a vicious, snarling beast with a ferocious lust for Julien,” Blowhole finished. He smirked at her surprised expression. “You forget, I have cameras all over the city. I witnessed the entire entertaining event. And I know how to solve your shapeshifting problem. I’m going to accompany you.”
This surprised Marlene. “Oh really?”
Blowhole nodded. “One of the dolphins I knew years 以前 had the same problem. Whenever he was transported, he would, as your 老友记 so aptly put it, ‘go wild.’ When he was transported with a pod mate, 或者 any other animal for that matter, who did not ‘go wild,’ he would remain calm.” He smirked; Marlene noticed that he was quite fond of smirking. “As 你 may have guessed, I am one of the fortunate 动物 that retains total self control in the wilderness.”
“And I guess,” Marlene added, “you also want to keep a close eye on me. Make sure I don’t do anything with your precious golden statue, right?”
“Exactly,” Blowhole replied, “now, up on your paws. We leave now.”
Seeing his fin was poised over the detonator, Marlene had no choice but to get up. And it seemed wise to get up quickly.

A new start chapter 4
The 下一个 日 Val had to go to the vet she now has to stay there till she gets better, but things dont look that good, I also found somthing out, I learned that Lily and Val are sisters ~no wonder there so close ~
I also recived a message from my Sargent who wants me to go on a secret mission its three days long ~ three days long... ive been for longer missions but not a three 日 long mission ~. I had to the the others that I had to go somewhere for three days, they asked me 问题 but i told them i would be alright they just had to trust me.
Lily was crying that night she missed Val so much, I tried to make her calm down and she ended up falling asleep on my lap.
Im leaving for my mission this morning at 5 AM ~ thats early ~.
I hope things get better soon,
