At the station in Los Pegasus, Michael got ready to take Stylo to Cheyenne.

Stylo: Where are we going?
Michael: I am taking 你 to Cheyenne. Another worker wants to switch jobs with you, and see what it's like on our railroad. 你 must impress the Union Pacific's boss for me. 显示 them what a typical Southern Pacific worker is capable of.
Stylo: 你 got it. With all that training 你 gave me, I'll do my best.
Michael: That's just what I want to hear. Let's get going. *drives to Cheyenne*

It was a long way to go from Los Pegasus to Cheyenne, but 由 the time they got there, Gordon was ready.

Pete: Now, please don't try to cause any trouble during your visit.
Gordon: 你 got it.
Michael: *Arrives*
Stylo: *Jumps onto platform from train*
Pete: Whoa. We got ourselves a little daredevil over here!
Stylo: *Laughes* I am a pegasus Mr. Reimer.
Pete: Please, just call me Pete. Everypony calls me that.
Stylo: Alrighty then Pete. What would 你 like me to do first?
Pete: I would like 你 to work with Metal Gloss, and get a freight train into St. Foalis.
Metal Gloss: *Arrives* Hi, I'm Metal Gloss.

Gordon: *Enters Michael's train*
Michael: Hello Gordon, I'm Michael.
Gordon: Yeah, great to meet you. Let's get out of this hell hole.

Gordon: Let's just get out of here.

Metal Gloss: *Enters freight train*
Stylo: *Enters engine* Ok, so what am I doing?
Metal Gloss: You'll be my fireman.
Stylo: If 你 insist. *grabs shovel, and puts coal in firebox*
Metal Gloss: What's it like on the Southern Pacific?
Stylo: It's good. Work conditions are great, and my boss plans to have the entire line dieselized 由 1958.
Metal Gloss: Oh. I'm sorry to hear that. Our railway will most likely be dieselized in 1959.
Stylo: Don't get me wrong, I like steam engines, it's just that operating a diesel is much better. 你 don't need to waste half a 日 with a 火, 消防 just to get the locomotive going.
Metal Gloss: It only takes half a 日 if 你 work slow. I 爱情 steam engines, and I'm glad to be driving this one.
Stylo: Alright. The signal should turn green soon.

Stylo was right. The signal turned green, and they were off.

Chapter 1

It was a dark and stormy night. A lone mare named Brine was walking from a very distant marketplace. Brine was about fifteen. She had the most striking light-blue hair that looked almost like water. Brine also had very light green eyes, very much like algae. She nervously walked along the familiar trail, thinking to herself.

“I do hope that those stories of young mares being kidnapped is false...” Brine thought to herself. About two weeks ago, a young mare was kidnaped on the same trail, and they were never able to find her. The same happened to a different mere one week afterwards....

Stylo: Okay, so 你说 that Coffee Creme was going to trick Anthony. What exactly did she do?
Hawkeye: You'll find out, but first we get to the scene where Anthony continues on to North Platte, after meeting Frenchy for the first time. He sings a song.
Stylo: Let me guess, Hound Dog.
Hawkeye: Yep.
Stylo: Don't sing it Hawk, please!
Hawkeye: Okay. I'll just tell the readers about it instead of you. *Knocks out Stylo* Now then.

It was a typical friday night. Mom wouldn't be 首页 until it was late, and both Georgia, and Carl were asleep. Georgia, because she's little, and Carl, because he's lazy.

Rafe: *grabs swiss cheese* Ditka. Here boy.
Ditka: Woof, woof!! *runs towards Rafe*
Rafe: *throws cheese into bathroom*
Ditka: *Goes into bathroom*
Rafe: *closes door* Now for some zoom.

Zoom tastes like 浓情巧克力 mixed with colta cola. I pour the zoom out of a can into a travel mug, just in case Carl wakes up, and he can't see what I'm drinking.
