Pinkie Pie, along with Trixie, ventured into the Everfree Forest in hopes of finding both Pound and 南瓜 Cake before their parents find out they were gone. It was going to be a long and hard quest, for there was a lot of danger inside the forest. Would two ponies really survive in the wilderness? It's time to see...
Both Pinkie and Trixie had walked through a lot of places inside the forest without taking the wrong step, because Trixie had been using her navigation skills for help. From Froggybottom Bog to the Ursa's cave, they kept on going, and going, and going... But they meet a dead end at a cliff.
Meanwhile, the baby ponies kept playing with each other until they got tired and went to sleep. Then, a shadow picked them up and carried the two off somewhere else. Who was this mysterious figure? It kept on running with the foals until they arrived in a cave filled with gems all around. Remember the episode "Owl's Well that Ends Well", where Spike went into a cave with gems, but was 首页 to a dragon? The cave that both sleeping ponies were in is the exact one!
Back with the two mares: Trixie had gotten a large magical surge that pulled her to the dragon's cave. She was going so fast, Pinkie couldn't catch up to her. Trixie knew this was a BIG emergency!
Later, they reached the dragon's cave, both knowing the dangers of encountering a dragon and why 你 shouldn't stay near one for too long. Just then, they saw something else. It was the shadow that picked up the baby ponies, taking them to the dragon! "Who goes there?" says the shadow. "Ye be those who save the babies? Thou art both too late!" Revealing itself, the shadow was a Shadowbolt, with loyalty to the dragon. "In time," the foe said, "My master will awaken for its snack, and find the 婴儿 perfectly good appetizers! If thou want to save the babies, go through me!"
