The first time my husband Akio saw Michael was at Yokohama Stadium in 1987. We traveled from our house in Tokyo to Yokohama and were going on to our 别墅 in Hakone for the weekend. We were simply enthralled 由 his 音乐 and incredible dancing.
Unlike today, there were no cell phones and the road conditions were bad, so it was very late when we arrived at the villa. On arrival we received a call from the house in Tokyo saying that Michael’s manager had been calling again and again because Michael was anxious to meet with Mr. Morita, so Akio hurriedly called his hotel.
Michael thanked Akio for coming to the 显示 and apologized as he felt his performance was not 100%. His voice has not been at its best and he invited us to come again when he promised an even better performance.
For artists there is no peak—they constantly strive to do better—to a point that might even be called self-indulgent.
Subsequently, Michael was in 日本 at the time of my birthday and he came to a party being held at my home, where this picture was taken.
As a vegetarian he avoided meat and 鱼 and as 你 see we prepared a large plate of Twenty Century (Asian) pears, which were in season. I don’t remember anyone else eating them except him, and that 日 remains a topic of conversation in our house to this day.
He found some of Akio’s toys, such as a mechanical piano, 音乐 box, miniature 街, 街道 organ and a record from the Edison Museum, and spent the evening playing with them like a child.
While in 日本 he visited Sony’s head office, the CBS Sony Studio that was in Shinnanomachi, Sony Media World, the Ginza Sony Building and so on, asking many 问题 and getting hold of the latest Sony products.
As promised we were invited to see him perform again at Tokyo Dome in 1992. The studio always arranged for an official 照片 to be taken backstage and we have many lovely 照片 that were later signed 由 the artist.
The History Tour came to Tokyo Dome in December 1996. Akio had already fallen ill 由 that time and I don’t remember the details, but I went to the Capitol Tokyu where Michael was staying and rode to the Dome in the same car. Many 粉丝 surrounded the car and others followed in taxis. When we stopped at red lights people would pass him paper 或者 handkerchiefs. He would sign them quickly and my job was to hand them back. He gave autographs to so many people between the hotel and the Tokyo Dome, but he never once made a face. He happily signed them, and as I sat 下一个 to him helping, I thought what a truly kind person he was.
He genuinely looked 前锋, 期待 to meeting Akio. In 1995 he released History and at that time had a special shield made to present to Akio, as well as a signed album.
On the shield it said:
“THIS ALBUM OF MY 音乐 WARMLY DEDICATED TO AKIO MORITA… FOR OUR EVERLASTING FRENDSHIP. WE ARE LIVING IN THE SAME DREAM FOREVER… WITH ALL MY LOVE”
After Akio fell ill in October 1993, the first message of support we received from abroad was from Michael Jackson.
It was a healing tape that he had made himself on which he had recorded his own voices saying “Mr. Morita…Mr. Morita” many times, as well as phrases such as “You will get better…you will speak again”, and a gentle song that he had chosen.
He also included a handwritten letter that said, “Play 3 times a 日 right before awaking before sleeping and mid day. Michael Jackson.”
I played it every morning for 10 分钟 before Akio got up and every night when I put him to 床, 床上 for the six years until he passed away.
In 1998 Michael performed in Honolulu, Hawaii. Pushing Akio in a wheelchair, we went to see the 显示 at Aloha Stadium, and the 下一个 日 Michael visited us at our villa. I can’t say how delighted Akio was and to this 日 I can not forget his kindness at that time.
It is 10 years since Akio passed away. Michael treated Akio as a respected teacher and friend. Many times he asked 问题 such as “How can I better engage young people?”, “What can I do to be 更多 respected?” and “Who should I trust?”
Michael couldn’t trust anyone and he found comfort in children and animals. Now he can rest in the comfort and peace of heaven, unbothered 由 others.
Many times he called me to say “I need your help”. This was 10 years 以前 and I regret that at the time, when Akio’s condition was at its worst, I wasn’t able to respond. I am so sorry to Michael for that. But now I believe he is resting peacefully in a happy place.

So we had our school retreat today, & there was a band right? They started playing will 你 be there, & my 老友记 were all nudging me going "it's MJ!" The thing is, I didn't know it was MJ when they first started playing. I had never heard will 你 be there before, yet all my 老友记 knew it. Isn't that kinda sad? My friend Emily was like "Keri, it's MJ get up & sing!" but I was like "I don't know the words." I learned it pretty fast though; they only played the first 2 lines over & over instead of the whole song, so I didn't feel like a total idiot!! So it was kinda embarrassing for me because my 老友记 all know me as the big MJ fanatic, yet I didn't recognize the song. But it really made my day!
YES!!! I 爱情 THRILLER but come on thriller thriller thriller lets have a dif fav era for once hehe. ok so i do 爱情 the thriller era yes probably ALLOT but my fav's are invincible and history why cause he had a more....mellinium and upbeat like a sorta futureristic pop 音乐 sound that just hung on me like all his albums not 1 mj song i hate. I like invincible cause it has beats that just make 你 want to 移动 not to menchon the beautiful and awesome slow songs on there i think mj put all his work into this album im sure. HIStory sorta explains how i feel and makes happy when im sad cause i know im not the only one whos lonely and gets made fun of cause of my looks 或者 what. I 爱情 ALL MJ ERAS xD
"Moonwalker" -- a collection of short films made 由 MJ in 1988 -- was never released theatrically in the United States ... but one L.A. movie theater is finally trying to make it happen ... for one night only.
TMZ has learned Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood is on the hunt for a film print of the 1988 cult classic ... after MJ 粉丝 flooded the A.C. 脸谱 page with the challenging request.
According to reports, "Moonwalker" was never theatrically released in America because of failed negotiations with U.S. movie distributors back in the 日 ... however the flick was eventually released in The States on VHS.
FYI -- "Moonwalker" featured a super-iconic 25-minute featurette for "Smooth Criminal" ... which included an awesome cameo 由 Joe Pesci.
Arclight claims they're actively searching for the print -- we'll let 你 know if the 搜索 succeeds.

Certain items found in the room where Michael Jackson died could help shape Dr. Conrad Murray's defense -- namely, that other docs were medicating Michael.
Sources connected with the case tell TMZ ... evidence in the room suggests certain potent drugs were "prescribed and prepared" for MJ to self-medicate.
As we first reported, Dr. Murray's team will not challenge the L.A. County Coroner's finding that Jackson died of a massive Propofol overdose. But as we told you, Murray's team will present evidence in the doc's manslaughter case that Michael awakened, then gave himself the fatal dose of Propofol when Murray left the room.
We're told Murray's team hasn't decided if it will use the evidence found in the room to implicate other doctors in Jackson's death. But we do know Murray's legal team will present evidence during the trial that the fruits of Jackson's notorious doctor shopping over two decades wore his body down.
The rep for Dr. Murray's lawyer refused comment.

Michael's name has the exact letters to describe him. He had the sweetest voice for such a young child and the smoothest dance moves. We would have talent shows at our school 或者 community recreation center, and there would always be a number of us who wanted to portray Michael and the Jackson five.
As he and we grew older we still enjoyed his sounds and performances. No one makes all perfect decisions in their lives. As with many a great artist he had some ups and downs. But through it all, his musical talents have been phenomenal genius.
Michael Jackson cannot be stopped ... even in death -- the King of Pop is set to release a posthumous album of brand new songs this November ... and it's just the beginning.
According to Rolling Stone, Jackson has approximately 100 still-unreleased songs from throughout his career -- and the Jackson Estate has already inked a $250 million deal with Sony to release them over the 下一个 seven years ... along with reissues of the MJ classics.
Among the unreleased tracks are collaborations with Akon, Will.i.am and Ne-Yo.
The album is due out in November.
