After Rehearsals Ended
Michael called Bill to the studio. Janelle's legs were still rather weak and she could still barely walk. She would get a few steps for a while, but then collapse onto the ground. Michael would have to help her tonight with her walking when they go to dinner, but...he was thinking that tonight could be just for him and her so he can get to know her better.
"Hey, Janelle." He said.
"Yes, Michael?" Janelle responded, turning to him.
"Um...well...I was thinking..." He started to blush a little. "Could...could tonight be...you know...just for us? Just 你 and me?"
Janelle seemed shocked that he would ask that. "What about Coraline?"
"Can't Sally watch her for at least an 小时 或者 two more?"
She looked down. "I can't put the burden on Sally. I have to be able to put Coraline to bed."
Michael tried to think of another way. Then an idea came to his mind. "I got an idea! I can have one of my bodyguards watch her while we're out. Come on, Janelle..." He took her hands in his. "Please? So we can have a private time together?"
She blushed a little and looked down at their hands. She looked back up at him. "Michael...I...uh..."
He gave her the 小狗 eyes and she bit her lip.
'Oh man...' She thought. "Okay, Michael. Okay. We can have a private 晚餐 together."
He smiled and hugged her. "Thank you. I just don't want the press wondering if Coraline would be our child. It'll put all three of us at risk and my mother would be questioning."
She hugged him back. She wouldn't want that to happen to either of them. Coraline's identity being revealed and the press asking about them. Michael looked up and saw Bill and released the hug and stood up.
"Well, let's get going to pick her up from Sally's."
He held out his hand to her and she took it and he put his arm around her waist and helped her to the limo. Once he got her in and got in himself, Bill drove them off to Sally's house, them talking along the way about the dance they were gonna come up with for Bad.
After 12 Minutes
Bill stopped the car and opened the door. Michael turned to Janelle.
"I'll go get Coraline since 你 can still barely walk and 你 had almost stumbled down the stairs at the studio." He said.
Janelle nodded. "Okay." She said.
Michael got out of the car and went up to the door and knocked. Sally opened the door and smiled.
"Why hello, Michael. Here for Coraline?" She asked.
He nodded. "Yes I am. Is she ready?"
She nodded and turned to the hallway to Pumpkin's room. "Coraline! Michael's here!"
She heard her running out of the room and when she saw Michael, she jumped at him and hugged him.
"Michael!!" She said, giggling.
He giggled and hugged her back. "Hey Coraline."
He thanked her for watching her and got her to the car.
"Hey mommy!"
Janelle giggled. "Hey sweetie, did 你 have fun?"
She nodded. "Yes I did! We played dress up!"
"Ooo, that does sound like fun."
Once Coraline was settled in her seat, Bill started driving back to the hotel. Coraline would wanna go from sitting in her 座位 to sitting on Michael's lap to sitting on Janelle's lap in that order, but she would spend most of her time sitting on Janelle's and Michael's laps. It would make them all giggle how she couldn't keep still. But hey, she was only 4 years old. She couldn't help it.
After About 15 Minutes
Bill finally got to the hotel and parked the limo. Michael got out first, helped Coraline out of the limo, then held his hand out to Janelle. She took his hand and he helped her out and put his arm around her and helped her into the hotel. Coraline held onto Janelle's other hand and they got into the elevator. Michael wanted to bring up dinner, but he couldn't because Coraline would hear it. He had to wait a little bit until he could discuss it. Once the elevator stopped, they got out and headed down the hallway to the back two suites. Once they got there, Janelle took out her key and opened the door to hers and Coraline's room and Coraline ran in. Even though she couldn't keep still, she jumped onto the 床, 床上 and literally fell asleep. She had a fun, yet tiring 日 playing with Pumpkin. Michael helped her into her room and helped her to the bed.
"Do we gotta dress up?" She asked.
He giggled a little and shook his head. "Nah, 你 don't have to. Where we're going is a casual restaurant." He said.
She giggled a little. "Oh alright. So I don't have to change?"
"Not unless 你 wanna go in your work clothes. I'll probably just change my shirt."
"Alright. I'll probably change my shirt, too. Want the key to the room so 你 can help me up after 你 change?"
He giggled. "Alright."
She handed him the key and he left the room to change his shirt. Janelle picked up her suitcase and looked through it and found a purple, pink, black and white plaid shirt. She took it out and took off her shirt, leaving her tank 最佳, 返回页首 on and put the 衬衫 over it and buttoned it up to where the 最佳, 返回页首 two don't close and still cover her chest. She managed to 移动 her legs a little, but they still felt like 果冻 and it was still hard for her to walk without collapsing. She heard the door open and looked up to see Michael standing there with a black and white striped polo 衬衫 on.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
She nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready to go. Is there a bodyguard out there?"
"Two of them. One to watch my door for a distraction and one to watch Coraline."
She giggled a little. "Makes it seem 更多 like you'd occupy two rooms."
He giggled and tilted his head. "Would seem like it. Well, let's go."
He walked over to the 床, 床上 and helped her up and they headed out of the room and to the elevator. When they got down to the first floor, they headed to the limo and Bill drove them off.
After 30 Minutes
Janelle and Michael had soon arrived at the restaurant and they went inside. They sat down at a far end 表 and ordered and started talking.
"So...you've been famous at a young age, too?" Michael asked.
Janelle nodded. "Exactly. But that's not what I wanted. I wanted to be normal, play with other kids, go to school, just have a normal life. My so called father didn't make it so I could have a normal childhood." She said.
"I understand that. I wish I could go back in time and do that. But sadly, I can't. 下一个 year, I'll be 30...oh gosh...I wish I could go back in time and make it easier for me to have a normal childhood. I need a time machine."
She giggled. "So do I. But other than 唱歌 and dancing and acting, what else do 你 do?"
Michael told her that he, when he would stay with Diana Ross when he was little, would draw and paint and such. Other than that, he'd work. He'd play with his brothers sometimes, but it wasn't enough for him to have his brothers as his only friends.
"I understand that. Ryan was my only friend."
"Yeah. What about you?"
She told him that she would draw in her free time and write stories off the 最佳, 返回页首 of her head in a journal 或者 she'd write in it about what happened one day. He could tell she was very creative, just like him. They had a lot in common with each other and he thought that he could definitely be hers...if she likes him, that is. He does like her, but he doesn't know if she likes him the way he likes her. She was thinking the same. Does he like her the way she likes him? (Stay tuned!)
