She was moving in with Michael at his house, so she was excited. Katherine knocked and came in. "Hey Becca, my almost daughter-in-law." She said. Becca giggled. At his house
Becca was asking if Michael celebrated Thanksgiving, since it was one week away. "I never really had a chance to celebrate Thanksgiving, Becca. Being a vegetarian and all. It's kinda hard for me." He said. Becca was in shock. "Oh, that's right. Because of diet changes when 你 were getting older...well, I'll help with that. I can give 你 the best Thanksgiving ever, Michael. You'll 爱情 what I can cook up." She 说 and Michael nodded. He was excited to celebrate his first actual Thanksgiving. She explained what they had to do during the time like decorating and such. She 说 that she'd handle the cooking and knew exactly what to do. Since she knew Michael was a pollo-vegetarian, she wanted to make this Thanksgiving different for him. She was actually a pure vegetarian, but it's not a problem for her. She knew there had to be a change for her vegetarian diet and she loved fried chicken. Same with Michael. Soon, they got to the house and got her stuff into the bedroom. Paris, Prince and Blanket saw her come in and they ran to her. "Becca!!" Paris 说 and hugged her. Becca hugged back. "Mom!" At the store
Only a few workers were there, which is a good thing. It's only people Paris and Becca knew. They walked into the store and saw everyone there. They got a 大车, 购物车 and started looking around. "Dad is a vegetarian, so what do we need to get?" Paris asked. "Well, actually, he's a pollo-vegetarian, its someone who eats chicken occasionally. So we will need a chicken instead of a turkey to fry." Becca 说 as they started looking around. Paris found one that was big enough to feed almost the entire family. "It's $25 for this one. Is it good?" Becca checked it and felt around the spots. "It's good. Good eye, Paris." She smiled at Becca as they continued to look around. "We need peas, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, gravy, and 南瓜 pie filling with crust." "Ooo, that sounds yummy. Oh! Found the peas!" "Ok, grab at least 4 cans, it should be enough for the family." Paris nodded and grabbed 4 cans and put them in the cart, 下一个 to the big chicken. "Alright. Peas, check. Chicken, check. Let's get the stuffing." They continued down the aisles and found the stuffing and put it in the basket, along with the 玉米 and mashed potatoes and 卤, 肉汁 and 南瓜 pie filling and crust. "Alright, all done. Let's get something to drink while we're here, Paris. Go choose whichever one 你 want." "Alright!" She ran to the drinks and looked through them. Becca knew what she wanted and what Michael wanted. She went over there and picked up two Pepsi's and placed them in the cart. Paris got three Coca Colas and put them in the cart. "Prince and Blanket like Coke, too?" "Yeah, they do. I told them that if we ever went to the store that I'd pick up Cokes for them, too." "Awe, that's so sweet of you." Becca patted her head and she giggled. They went to check out and surprisingly it wasn't at all what she expected it to be. It wasn't even expensive. She only had to spend $60, which wasn't at all bad. Becca took out the $60 and handed it to the cashier and she rang it up and soon, they left back to the car and put the stuff in. Paris 说 that they can wait until Thanksgiving to get their drinks, and Becca agreed to that. 'Michael can wait, too. He's patient.' She thought as they were heading 首页 with Chris.
Back at the house
Blanket and Prince crashed on the 长椅, 沙发 and Michael was asleep on the chair. Becca and Paris and Chris were being careful not to wake them up, but saw the decorations. "Oh wow...it's pretty in here." Paris whispered. "Yeah, it is. They must have spent a lot of time doing this." Becca whispered back. Chris helped them get the stuff into the 厨房 and put away. Becca thanked Chris and he told her that it was no problem at all. He soon left and they went into Paris' room. "Oh wow...they decorated my room, too!" Paris was whispering still, but with excitement. "It's pretty in here, Paris. They really went all out. I guess your father had some things hidden in the shed and decided to bring them out to decorate the rooms." "Yeah...he has things hidden. Like his wine cellar." "He has a wine cellar?" "Yeah. Ever realize that there was a secret door in the floor in the living room?" "Not really. He never showed me that when I first stayed here." "Well, it's down there. When he's sleeping, I can take 你 down there. He also keeps sparkling cider down there, too. The only holidays dad and us celebrate are Halloween, Christmas, New Years, Easter, Mother's day, and Father's day. That's about it. We never actually celebrated Thanksgiving before." Once Becca finished the song, Paris was fast asleep. Becca kissed her forehead and went over to her CD player and turned it on and put some Jackson 5 slow tunes on for her to listen to while she slept. 'That should keep the nightmares from coming to you, Paris.' She thought and then started walking toward the door. She looked at Paris and smiled. "Sweet dreams, Paris." She whispered and turned off the lights and headed out of the room. She went into Michael's bedroom and laid down on the 床, 床上 after taking her shoes off and placing them beside her side of the bed. She curled up under a thin blanket and soon fell asleep herself, taking a little nap.
