Prologue:
The 年 is 2000 and Michael has been thinking up some new songs. He has decided to go to the recording studio and do some demos...
It was just another 日 in the life of an artist for Michael. He had recorded new ideas for songs on a tape recorder and has decided to transfer them from the tape to the studio. He loved making music. And he knew the 粉丝 loved it too. But he still felt as though he was missing something in his life. Like there was a hole in his 心 that only that missing thing could fill. He just couldn’t 熊 this feeling... one of loneliness. The closest woman he’d last been with was his ex-wife Lisa. He had loved her to bits and didn’t feel as though he was ready to 移动 on. At least that’s what he initially thought.
As he was recording his new song, “You Rock my World,” with Chris Tucker, he seemed... unfocused. Matt, who was helping them record the song, could tell Michael wasn’t feeling all that well and suggested they take a break. At that moment, Chris turned to Michael with a look that meant the same as what he said...
“What’s wrong with 你 Mike? 你 seem so down lately,”
“It’s nothin’ Chris, really,” Michael 说 as he sat on the floor.
“Mike shamone! If it WAS nothing, we’d be done in here 由 now,”
“It’s just that... well this may sound ridiculous but I just feel... lonely, 你 know. Here I am 唱歌 about a girl that doesn’t even exist, expressing my emotions vocally to a figment of my imagination, because 爱情 songs are what my 粉丝 like to hear. I mean, the last person I really felt close to was...”
“Lisa?” Chris said, cutting him off.
“Exactly.”
‘Man 你 gotta forget about her and 移动 on wicha life. Get yourself a pretty young thing. You’ll find what you’re looking for.”
“I don’t know man, I mean, what if she does the same thing to me? I can’t 熊 to 爱情 and lose again...”
... Meanwhile, in another part of the building...
“Brooke, I need 你 to do a favour for me,”
“Yes Dad... I mean, Sir?”
“I need 你 to go to studio 7 today first, instead of your usual routine... and make certain 你 do,”
“Should I know why I need to go to number 7 first?”
“Let’s just say... Matt’s working with someone in there at the moment and it’s essential that they are kept in a good frame of mind.”
“Okay, I’m on my way.” Brooke said. She knew better than to 问题 her father too much. But why number 7 first, she thought...
