About the Academy Awards:

I'm going to point out that it was the first time HP had been nominated for the Academy Awards, and it was barely nominated for anything. It should have been nominated for its music, visual effects, set disigns, and lots more. They also should have won. But thats my opion.

It should have been nominated for 更多 than that. Alan Rickman should have received an Oscar (Best Actor 或者 Best Supporting Role).

The 音乐 was exceptional too - Alexandre Desplat should have been at least nominated.

I checked the BAFTA site (the UK equivalent). I read all the 评论 and many of them were about Alan Rickman being completely ignored 由 the judges. Many of these 评论 说 that he should have received a BAFTA as Best Actor 或者 Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Severus Snape.

No need to say that I agree with these appreciations. What had AA and BAFTA in mind then ?! How disappointing...

What really made my mad was that The Help got a Best Film nomination over Potter. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED The Help but the last Harry Potter movie was brilliant. Giving Alan Rickman Best Supporting Actor should have been a hands down alongside with Best Score and Best Visual Affects.
