I think it was foreshadowed that Dan was Gossip Girl since 2x25. Remember in 2x25, Serena texted GG, "I know who u are. Meet me at the oak room 或者 i'll tell everyone who are." When Nate and Serena we're waiting for Gossip Girl to 显示 up, Dan was the first person to 显示 up. Nate was surprised and 说 "whoa, so Dan is Gossip Girl?" He probably thought he was joking. Great finale, I am so happy because of Chuck and Blair and their son is so sweet <3 From the start I didn't like Dan, and to tell the truth I am glade because he is GG, but I am not so happy because of the fact that he didn't pay for that, instead he got happy ending with Serena, and we all remember how cruel was GG especially to her, so for me reaction was WTH??!! I absolutely loved the finale! Chair wedding was amazing, Dan being GG is such an awesome idea. :D Flashforward was great, everyone was happy (little Henry is adorable). Though I always preferred Serena with Nate instead of Dan I am not at all surprised it ended the way it did and it doesn't bother me. 1.) He gave up his big story on Gossip Girl which could have saved the Spectator to find Serena.
2.) When he thought Steven was cheating on her and saw him 吻乐队（Kiss） her, he 说 "How can 你 let him 吻乐队（Kiss） 你 after what he did" clearly upset and mad that Steven hurt her.
3.) When S and D got back together, N was very disapproving.
N was protective of S in both situations, as if he felt she deserved better.

Gossip Girl is so bad now, and it really pains me to say it. In tonight's ep. I really wanted to cry at how bad it is, nothing akes sense anymore. I was hoping that this being the last season would mean that GG would go out with a bang. Turns out it didn't. Awful season, characters are the same as when the 显示 started, if not worse.
