I've been a member of 潮流粉丝俱乐部 for a little under a 年 and have been enjoying the site immensely. I glanced at my spots, er, clubs, and saw one outlined in green. What the heck? Then I saw the dot. Oh my! Could it be? Sure enough, below "my spots" was the icon: Dedicated Fan.

I am shocked and oh so excited. I've created a few spots, and added quite a bit to several, but these spots aren't that popular. That fact is fine 由 me, but I doubted I'd ever get to be a Dedicated 粉丝 (a secret desire of all Fanpoppers, I'm sure). Although I check the site daily, I don't have time to add much content (I haven't even figured out how to 上传更多 that one picture at a time), and when I do, it's usually to a spot that doesn't get a lot of action. I'm so pleased that enough people have discovered, and hopefully enjoyed, the content I have provided.

Thank 你 all for allowing me to become a Dedicated Fan...next stop-Die-Hard Fan!

Here is my other proposal for fanpop.com.
What do 你 think about it?

You can go to a users 个人资料 and check their activity there. But i don't believe it's just me who think it's overbearing to go to activity and then rate 或者 whatever you'll do.
I think it would be a "search-fan-pane" at every spot where 你 can 搜索 for a 粉丝 and see everything that the 粉丝 has post at the spot your on.
Like this:
1. Go to a spot
2. 搜索 for the user 你 want to
3. Then 你 can pick between icons, photos, fanart, videos, 文章 ect. (It's like when 你 "Searh Fanpop")
4. when 你 press at the category 你 wanna...

I found a 列表 of science fiction 粉丝 words that I thought some of 你 guys out there in the 潮流粉丝俱乐部 domain would enjoy (I've tried to define them in relation to Fanpop):

Actifan : A 粉丝 who's active in fandom (by 写作 soapbox articles, starting 论坛 etc.)

BNF : a Big Name Fan

Croggle : To shock 或者 Astound (If someone croggles you, 你 are croggled 或者 becroggled)

Egoboo : An ego boost (the sort caused 由 finding your 文章 featured 或者 someone new being a 粉丝 of you)

Egoscan : To skim through an 文章 (publication) looking for your name mentioned (like googling yourself)

Faan : A 粉丝 who's...

The "Forgotten" Features of 潮流粉丝俱乐部

Um, ok so maybe these features aren't THAT secret...

There are a lot of features on Fanpop. Some are well known and others are less well known (there are also a ton of others we *want* to do, but that's for another conversation). Today I thought I would highlight a few of the less-well-known features for you.

Why? Because, dammit, we spent time on these features! Sure picks and 图片 might be sexier, but these are the runts of the proverbial Fanpop-litter and they need some time in the spotlight too.

(side note: if 你 already know about these, then consider yourself a very knowledgeable Fanpopper. But if 你 don't...well, here's hoping you...

Hip-hip-hooray! Wow- I had just hit 20 粉丝 and I am so excited. I have been "fanpoping" since last June and frankly at first I joined 潮流粉丝俱乐部 just to get to watch some 视频 of my 最喜爱的 shows. In the beginning I don't think I even paid attention to whatever was going on with the web-site- 视频 were the only thing that mattered. I suppose some people do 加入 just for that. This section of my guide for 潮流粉丝俱乐部 users details the ratings system and was last edited on 26 May 2008.

As with any web site, 潮流粉丝俱乐部 is only as good as its content. Some content - what I think of as the soul of the site - is generated 由 users in the fora and in 评论 on the rest of the content and cannot be rated. But the rest of the content - the body of the site - has a ratings system. One-Fan Spots

After creating my link spot and noting the severe lack of members, curiosity got me to searching for spots on 潮流粉丝俱乐部 that only had a single member (generally, their creator).

I came across spots that were months old and still only had a single member such as Chel's link spot, harold's link spot, 或者 berly's link spot. And I thought to myself, these spots were created to meet other 粉丝 and yet there appeared to be no other 粉丝 of these topics on all of fanpop? Ridiculous! Or... maybe it's true.

Some of the one-fan spots seemed very obscure (to me, at least), so it's quite possible that there...
