Wally walked to the store with his team. Robin walked beside him, the others a bit ahead of them. Erin had run over to a friend of hers and had disappeared. Devin had decided to follow Erin, hugging her brother before leaving. So it was just the six of them.
“You can't posses her 你 know,” Robin cut into his thoughts.
“Who?” Wally asked, genuinely confused.
“Willow. She's her own person. Blaming her of flirting was pretty stupid, Wally. Willow has always loved you. But now that you're broken up, she's able to stretch those wings 你 so neatly pinned.”
“What are 你 talking about?”
“You were the man in the relationship, right?”
“Duh!”
“Well, Willow's smart enough to know 你 don't argue with someone in charge. Unless they're being unreasonable. Whenever 你 two went out, men would stare at Willow. Subconscious 或者 not, 你 had a way of glaring them down. Basically, 你 clipped Willow of her wings.”
“What wings?!”

“What's the point to your tirade?” Wally snapped.

Wally stopped walking, looking Robin in his shades.
“I was her warden?! So now I jailed her!”
“Wally, 你 built walls around her. 你 imprisoned her. And here's a reason 你 hated Becca's protection over Willow. Becca always tore your walls down.”
“So I'm the bad guy?!”
“Wally, there's no bad guy! 你 just won't stop thinking that 你 can posses this girl! And it's creepy! No matter how hard 你 try, 你 won't posses her! So go for the 下一个 best thing.”

“Loving her.”
Wally blinked. Robin may only be thirteen, but he was definantly hitting some hard notes with Wally on this topic. Wally looked down at Robin, who stared calmly up at him.
“How do 你 know what you're talking about?” Wally asked, at which Robin smirked.
They started walking again and Robin explained.
“Because it's how I was when Becca first came to our team. She was this new person that I hadn't seen in four years plus some months and I just wanted to control her. I didn't want her doing something that I wouldn't be able to fix. But trust me on this Wally. Loving someone is better than trying to control them. Especially when 你 see how much they 爱情 你 back.”
Wally looked at his friend from the corner of his eye. He had to admit Robin had a point. At least about Robin's story. Wally had noticed how much Robin had wanted to protect Becca when she first came several months ago. But he seemed less...possessive now. Wally knew Robin loved Becca. It wasn't hard to see that the warrior girl was his best friend's world. The two had been through the worst things anyone could go through. But they were still strong. Something inside Wally wanted to have that with Willow. But another side wanted only to, in Robin's words, possess her. At the moment, Wally wasn't sure what the problem was.
