* Four Months Later*
“I don't know how much 更多 I can take,” Willow said.
“What? 你 mean with Becca?”
“Yes Erin. All she does is sit in her room, in the dark, watching the news on Gotham. She hasn't left in weeks. Months! I mean, she has a bathroom and everything but I'm worried. Really worried. Does she sleep? Does she eat? How can she do that?”
“Heartbreak can make 你 do crazy things, kid. I know.”
“Well I'm really starting to worry. What's going to happen when she finds out about Robin and Sam?”
A loud crash, like the sound of glass breaking, caught their attention and every girl ran to Becca's room. They opened the door to see Becca on the floor, crying. Glass littered the floor along with pictures she'd had of Robin, each one torn. Her TV had been struck with a dagger.
“Becca!”
Willow went over to the girl, who buried her face in Willow's lap.
“I-I'm sorry,” she cried.
“What happened?”
“I-I was watching the n-news and Y-Young J-Justice was on it. Robin and S-Sam...they...”
Becca burst into tears and Willow stroked her hair.
“We know.”
“You knew and 你 didn't tell me?!”
“We didn't want to hurt you!”
“I was already hurt! Why would it have mattered?! Sam took away the one I loved 更多 than life! How could 你 think I would have never found out?”
“I-I'm sorry. I was trying to protect you.”
“Why?! Cause I'm pathetic?”
“Because you're broken and 迷失 Becca!”
The girl looked up at her friend. The tears were running down her cheeks and her lip quivered. But her gaze was strong and steady.
“I may be, but I don't want sympathy. I want encouragement.”
“Okay. 你 have it. Now, what can we do?”
“...could 你 get me some 浓情巧克力 ice cream while I shower?”
“Sure. But it'll melt.”
“No. We're out. We need more.”
“How are we out?!”
“I ate it all.”
“You did?”
“Yeah. I came out in the middle of the night about a week 以前 and I found it. I used to eat a little bit at a time. But there's no 更多 now.”
“Oh. Well, if 你 want it, we'll get it. Anything else?”
“Can someone change the sheets on my 床, 床上 and clean my room? I don't want these pictures and dirt in here anymore.”
“Alright.”
“And will 你 guys help me train later today? I want to but it'll be hard. I haven't done it in a few months.”
“Of course. Now go 淋浴 and let us do our jobs.”
“Thank you. I don't know how I would get through this without you.”

“Okay. Take it easy.”
“I know how to walk on a rope, Willow.”
“Yes but 你 haven't done so in twenty weeks. 你 need to slowly train your body again. Maybe if 你 take the mask off 你 could-”
“No! The mask stays on!”
“Okay.”
Willow bit her lip at Becca's behavior, but kept her eyes on her friend. She wasn't that high off the ground, just five feet, but Becca looked weak and unstable all the same. Becca made it across, jumping down. Willow went up to her, handing Becca a water bottle.
“Good. 你 did enough for today. I think we should work 更多 on your legs tomorrow though. 你 seem a little shaky.”
“I know. My body isn't used to exercising anymore. But I couldn't train when I was upset. It's not healthy. Then again, neither was what I was doing but that's not the point.”
“Yeah. I'm glad to see 你 up and about. It's been three days since 你 found out. How are 你 holding up?”
“I'm broken and sore but I'll get there. I need to go and give a few things to him anyway so I'll probably talk with Artemis. If I'm not back 由 dinner, don't wait up for me.”
Willow watched her walk away. Becca was slowly regaining her usual behavior and position. But there was an obvious difference about her. For one, she'd 迷失 weight. Two, she wasn't quite as bubbly and loud. And the third, she wore her mask 或者 sunglasses everywhere she went. She was hiding something but Willow preferred to wait and let Becca tell her when she was ready. After all, Becca was a sparrow. And she always bounced back.
