“The magician is in A-Atlantis” I swallowed. Kalder’s eyes widened. The computer beeped. I looked back at the screen. There was another dot blinking. It was up in Canada. This one was much 更多 powerful.
“I have an idea. But it involves splitting up” I warned
“What is it?” Kalder asked
“How about Kalder and I check out Atlantis, while 你 five go to Canada and check it out” I suggested
“Why do 你 get to go to Atlantis?” Wally demanded
“Two reasons: one: Faust went there once with Black Manta. It could be him again. And two: Can 你 breathe underwater?” I said
“You can breathe under water?” he tilted his head. I nodded.
“Okay. Faith and I will go to Atlantis, while the rest of 你 go to Canada” Kalder instructed. We 分裂, 拆分 up. Kalder and I went to the teleporters while the rest of the team headed to the hanger. We walked through and suddenly, we were underwater. A layer of 彩虹 magic surrounded my body so I could breathe underwater. I swam along with Kalder. It was getting awkward, so I decided to break the ice.
“So, this is where you’re from?” I asked
“Yes. This is my home. Where are 你 from?” he agreed
“Gotham. I’ve lived there for two years now. Before that, I lived in Greece” I said
“What made 你 leave?” he tilted his head
“I… uh wanted to see 更多 of the world” I 说 quickly “Then Zatanna found me and trained me in the mystic arts” He was about to say something, but was cut off 由 a man in an 橙子, 橙色 and green suit. They started speaking in a language I didn’t recognize.
“Kent? Is that you?” the man asked
“Not exactly” I pulled off my 头盔 and my brown hair came loose.
“So, 你 are the new Dr. Fate” he 说 as I put it back on.
“You can call me Faith” I shook his hand
“I am Aqua Man, King of Atlantis” he introduced. I managed a bow.
“I take it you’re here to investigate the mystical disturbances?” he asked. I nodded. He swam off. I struggled to follow. Kalder swam off, right behind his King and Mentor. He looked back and smiled. He swam back and grabbed my arm, pulling me up with them. He 说 something in the language I didn’t understand, then a 海豚 came out of nowhere and nudged its fin under my arm.
“Kalder, what dose it want?” I asked, petting it.
“I told it to help 你 swim” he said. I grabbed its fin with both my hands and it swam with the King and Kalder. I was glad for the 头盔 so they couldn’t see my embarrassment.
