“Sarah? 你 in there?” asked the concerned voice of Kalder. It had been two days since my metamorphosis had started. My legs were scaly, my cheeks were spiky and my arms were bubbly.
“I’m not coming out” I said
“But Robin’s healed now! He wants to see you!” Kalder insisted
“No. He doesn’t” I murmured
“Yes, I do!” Exclaimed a new voice
“Robin, please, don’t say that” I pleaded
“Say what? That I want to see you?” Robin asked
“Yes. I can never be seen again. Even if that means cutting myself off from the rest of the world for the remanded of my life” I sighed
“Sarah, please, just come out of your room for five minutes” Robin demanded. I sighed and took down the 墙 of black magic. I opened the door just as Wally walked by. He saw me and screamed in horror. I ran back into my room, crying. I heard them yelling at Wally.
“Sarah, I’m sorry I screamed in horror at your appearance” Wally apologized
“It’s okay. 你 were just speaking the truth. I am horrifying. I’m a monster” I whispered
“Sarah, you’re not a monster. 你 are a beautiful girl who I love” Robin attempted to comfort me. It did not work. I took a picture of myself, then slid it under the door. I saw Robin pick it up. I heard Wally yell, while Kalder and Robin just gasped in horror.
“That’s why I’m never leaving this room ever again!” I said
“Sarah, 你 have to! At least let me in!” Robin exclaimed. I didn’t open the door. I went to the bathroom and threw my mirror into a shadow tunnel taking it to the desert. Now I’ll never have to see myself again. I started to cry, thinking about all I had just lost, all I was to loose.
“I hate my life” I whispered so quietly, not even super boy would be able to hear it. I walked over to my 床, 床上 and laid down in it. I closed my eyes, hoping sleep would quickly take over my body. It did. I saw intense 图片 of different people I cared about. It stopped on the person I cared about the most. Robin. I kept thinking that I was being consumed in darkness. Finally, the 图片 stopped. I was in a barren city. I walked through it’s streets until I saw someone: A tall woman with purple hair and white robes on. I ran over to her.
“Where am I?” I asked
“You are in Azerath” The lady responded
“It is a beautiful city” I complimented
“Thank you. 你 honor our city with your presence” She told me
“Really? Why?” I asked
“Because 你 are in the metamorphosis state” she explained
“I’m really a mortal girl with godly powers” I said
“Oh. I was not aware of that” She said
“May I stay here?” I replied
“Of course. Azerath welcomes all of its visitors” she responded
“Even monstrous ones?” I asked
“If 你 are speaking of yourself, 你 look fine” she replied. I looked down and realized I looked like myself before the metamorphosis.
