One gloved hand wrapped around the girl's mouth to muffle the threats she gave, while the other crept under her pencil 短裙, 裙子 and up her inner thigh. The victim's arms were held down 由 the harsh rope tied around her body. Her head was pulled back and in her hazel eyes was the 火, 消防 of defiance. A grin crossed the captor's face as his grip tightened around her thigh,"Shhh... I wouldn't dare hurt a such a delicate flower, but I might test her strength."

Declan pulled out of his soon-to-be-sister-in-law's house. His hand reached up and adjusted the rear view mirror, the reflection of Riley in the back 座位 looking out the window made him smile. The boy's eyes brightened as an 冰激凌 商店 came into view on the corner of the street. Just as it did the blonde driver felt his phone vibrate, he slowed and pulled to the side of the road, then took the phone from his pocket and read that he had:

'One new text message
From: ~Beautiful~
Time Received: 8:31'

His finger tapped the message 图标 and the text appeared brightly:

'Hey, get 首页 soon, I think someone is here...'

Curiosity crossed his face and he muttered inwardly,"Why wouldn't she ca-"
"Daddy!"
"Yeah, Rye?"
"Can we get ice-cream! Pleeease!"
"I don't know Rye..."
"Pleeeeaassseeeee"
"F-Fine, we gotta hurry though.."

The two boys pulled up to the small homey house. Riley was instantly out of the car, and just as he reached for the door knob Declan let out a stern hiss,"Riley!"
The child halted and waited for the blonde to make his way over to him. Quietly, the door knob was turned and the pair entered. The house was spotless, a 长椅, 沙发 was to their right, perfectly adorned with throw pillows, the staircase leading upstairs almost seemed unused.

Something was wrong, and Declan didn't dare to call out, so he knelt in front of the little boy, tussling his hair, while whispering. "Hey Rye, do 你 remember the place 你 always hide in when we play Hide-And-Go-Seek? Remember how I couldn't find 你 for a long time?"
Riley's eyes shined and he nodded.
"Okay this game is a little different, 你 have to be the villain and I the Hero.. Okay? But wait.. 你 can't let me catch 你 或者 else 你 lose.. So 你 better sit there and not make a noise 或者 I'll get you, if 你 win I'll buy 你 all the 冰激凌 你 want. got it?"
The child's anticipation skyrocketed.
"Good, go, right now! Don't let anyone 或者 me see you! Go! I'ma count to two hundred."
The boy sprinted off, and the blonde began counting to himself,"One.." he spoke as he climbed the first step,"two, three, four....twenty-five." He breathed as he hit the 最佳, 返回页首 examining the hallway, all the doors were shut, except one.

The bedroom.

Its door was cracked only a bit and Declan's eyes widened,"Dane..." He hissed before turning invisible and stood before the door. Slowly, he eased himself in, without a sound, until his foot hit the door and a loud 'creeeeeak' sounded from the old hinges.
"Shit.." The boy scowled and involuntarily uncloaked himself.

Pale eyes scanned the area and when they stopped they rested on the image of Dane lying unconscious on the floor. Just as his hands were about to grasp her, he felt the edge of a blade digging into his skin and stopped. "You have something I want, Seeker.." The voice came out malicious and greedy.
"Dane.." the 问题 was ignored as Declan stared upon the limp woman, tears prickling at the edges of his eyes.
"Seeker..." The edge dug deeper, just soft enough not to break the skin. "I don't like to be ignored.. "
"What do 你 want, Roman?"
"Your blood, of course..and I'm not leaving without it. I think 你 give it to me, now, so I don't have to take it myself."
"Answer me a 问题 first..."
"Okay.."
"What did 你 do to her.."
There was pause, and Roman gave a slight laugh,"Everything.."

The fury that pulsed through Declan's veins was something all too new. The blonde pulled back, sliding beneath the 刀 and turned toward the intruder. The green orbs Roman possessed widened as a he was slugged in the across the face. A cracking vibrated through he boy and he grinned as he kicked the other in the ribs hearing the intense sound of ribs breaking,"You pig... do 你 know what they do to swine like you.." He growled standing over the cowering dark-haired man.
"Answer me, Roman!"
"W-What.."
"They slaughter them.." Dropping to his knees, he hiked back his fist and then let it descend to bring a skull crushing blow to the head of his challenger, all while inwardly counting,"one-hundred, one-hundred and one."

But before the popping of the shattering 识骨寻踪 sounded. Before the explosion of pain that would rush through Declan's hand. Before he would retreat to Dane and hold her in his arms. Before all that. There was a knife. A 刀 that entered the abdomen of the blonde and slid up two inches.

Declan doubled over and gave dry-heaves as the hot blood poured through his fingers. He looked up at, the now standing, Roman a brazen grin on the pig's face. "Thank you, Seeker.. I'll do so much better with this, but hey. I can't leave without a souvenir..." 翠, 翡翠 averted to a limp form in the shadows.

Blue widened and huffed out a scream. His hand curled around Roman's ankle and brought him down. Desperately, the blonde drug himself over to the the dark-haired Dane and he shielded her body with his, keeping Roman from her.
"Listen, kid, I really didn't want to kill you." Green eyes glimmered as he stood before the lone opened-window, the moonlight cascading over him,"But you're making it so, damn, hard not to... "
"Fine.. Kill me.. It's your only option if 你 want her.."
"Easy enough..."
Just as he 说 that Declan's eyes caught sight of a shadow. Standing outside of the window. The light of the moon silhouetted the figure, so he couldn't make out what 或者 it was. It just stood there, no form, no motion, just stood... still. His vision began to blur and he felt his body go numb, his head hit the floor, and the blood oozing from his wound. The last thing blue witnessed was the glare of the 刀 in brilliant light as he muttered the number two-hundred..

Declan awoke with his arms curled around Dane, and a pouting Riley across his bed-side.
"Daddy.. 你 never came and found me!!"
"Huh... what..." He muttered as the dark-haired woman shifted.
"We were playing last night.."
"Oh.. yeah.. 你 win.."
"So I get 冰激凌 all week!"
"Yea-yea-" Declan shot up his eyes wild,"Last night."
Riley stared wide-eyed as the blonde gazed at the sleeping form of his fiancée. His eyes moved to his stomach and there was a bandage,"It was real...? He actually got away..?"
Rubbing his eyes of sleep he glanced around, until he spotted a note and a little glass bottle with red liquid in it. Shakily, he took the note and read the inscription.

'You can't always play Hero.'
