Is it ok to send BL 日本漫画 and Doujinshi from 日本 to US?

Hi.
I have a 问题 about sending BL 日本漫画 from 日本 to US.
I bought a lot of BL 日本漫画 and Doujinshi and sent to my sister.(She lives in Japan)
maybe 20 BL 日本漫画 and 10 Doujinshi.
I wonder,,,is that ok to send that from 日本 to US?
I'm afraid if we get in trouble to do that...
It's not shota 或者 loli. but Doujinshi is R rated.
Has anyone send from 日本 to US?
any trouble? 或者 no problem?
Overseas shipping is available at some Japanese BL store...so I bet people buying from them,,,
