"Caleb? How? What are? Your a dimension jumper?" I ask, finally able to complete a sentence.
"Yeah I am. How are 你 even here? Your not suppose to know yet," He stares at me.
"Same as 你 apparently. Dimension jumping?" I guess.
"Yeah, I got that, but how are 你 even in here. No one jumps in 或者 out of here. 你 have to be brought."
"So I've been told." I say. He looks at me. "And what do 你 mean I'm not suppose to know?" I eye him accusingly. He looks guilty, like he just gave away a secret.
"You weren't supposed to know I can jump until later. Like Two years from now. When 你 found out 你 can jump."
"Well fate didn't like what my father apparently had planned. I found out a bit early. And I take it you're learning different things from my dad other than working on cars," I reply sharply.
"I'm learning both from him. Today was mechanic lessons, but I've kind of been held up," he jesters to the cell.
"He'll teach 你 but not me. Nice to know where I rank on his list," I mumble.
"Sorry Kodi. I'm the only one in my family who can jump. I have no one else to teach me," Caleb explain.
"I thought it was inherited?"
"Apparently we're both something special," Caleb shrugs.
"How long have 你 been jumping?" I ask.
"About three months."
"Seriously?! I've been doing this on and off for nine years and he says nothing to me! Letting me think I was messed up and weird! I can't believe him!" I shout. This attracts other prisoners attention. Oops.
"HEY! How come 你 ain't in your cell?" a woman in the 下一个 cell asks.
"Yeah! How come?" another prisoner asks.
"Because I'm not a prisoner like you," I respond. They didn't believe me, for obvious reasons.
"Right! And I'm a dog." The first one says. The other one laughs.
"Tell me how 你 did it and I won't call the guards," one threatens.
"I....I don't know how I got here," I stammer.
"Kodi, 你 need to get out of here now," Caleb says.
"Um, once again, I have no idea!" I start to panic. Meanwhile the pair of prisoners start making noise, gradually getting louder.
"Please stop!" I beg.
"Tell us how 你 did it!" they shout.
"Kodi, if 你 have no control that means only your consciousness is here. A big shock should send 你 back," Caleb explains. Then out of nowhere he slaps my cheek. I see the lesson have really paid off.
"Ow!" I hold my cheek, looking at Caleb angrily. The slap quiets the prisoners thankfully. My vision starts to 云, 云计算 and I can feel my 床, 床上 under me. For an instant I see nothing but haze and then my vision clears.
"Well, this is new," I comment. I'm still in the prison. Two new things today. I'm on a roll.
"Crap. Why didn't it work?" Caleb exclaims. I shrug. Like I have a clue.
"No one jumps in 或者 out?" I guess.
"Yeah, but somehow 你 got in here."
"Doesn't mean I'm excluded from all the rules, Caleb."
The two loud mouths, realizing my escape failed, start to make 更多 noise than before, getting other prisoners to 加入 them.
"WHATS GOING ON?" A guard calls from the end of the hall. Then he sees me. "WHAT ARE 你 DOING?!" he shouts at me.
"Kodi! RUN!" Caleb commands.
I take off, running past cell after cell of cheering prisoners. I turn down another hall and run right into another guard.
"Got ya!" he laughs, handcuffing me.
"I didn't do anything wrong! This is a mistake!" I cry.
"Sure kid," He snorts in amusement, "I got her. Should I take her to Warden Sumter?" he asks into a com-link. Something garbled comes out that must've meant yes, because we start walking.
"Warden Sumter? Why does the warden have my last name? Wait.... didn't Dad say that Grandad work for dimension police? That would be terrible if it was him," I think.
We eventually arrive to the warden's office.
"Sir, I caught the free-roamer," the guard says.
"Thank you. That'll be all," the warden says, turning to face us. I gasp. Well the warden isn't my Grandad. Its someone I never would have expected.
"Yeah I am. How are 你 even here? Your not suppose to know yet," He stares at me.

ON STORMY CLOUDS
I’VE SEEN HIM SIT
THIS DARK 天使 FAIR
WITH FOLDED AND SHIMMERING
GOSSAMER WINGS
AND MOON BEAMS IN HIS HAIR
WITH BURNING EYES
TO EARTH HE SLIDES
SEEKING TO FEEL THE GROUND
THEN SPREAD HIS
RAVEN FEATHERED WINGS
CASTING HIS MAGICK SHADOW ‘ROUND
THIS 天使 TOUCH
IS A COMFORTS SONG
SOFT AS A VELVET CLOAK
AND WHEN HE REACHES
TO RIGHT THE WRONG
HIS WORDS ARE FEELINGS SPOKE
ON HOOF AND WING, I WATCHED HIM SAIL
MY DARK 天使 FAIR
TO SOME ARCANE ABODE
WE KNOW NOT WHERE
TILL HIS 下一个 ASSIGNMENT
AND THE FUTURE HAS BEEN FORETOLD
FOR THE LAST FLIGHT
THIS DARK 天使 TAKES
IS A PIED-PIPERS GATHERING
FOR ALL THE SOULS HE’S TOUCHED
LISTENING TO THE SHADOWY
SONGS THEY’LL NOW SING
I’VE SEEN HIM SIT

It's been almost a 年 since Freak died. For a while, people always used to say to me, "I'm sorry." I hated that. I yelled at them, "Feel sorry for Freak! I'm still alive!"
They shouldn't feel sorry for me. Freak taught me what it meant to walk tall. He tought me that remembering is only an invention of the mind, and if 你 try hard enough, 你 can remember anything. I try to remember everything Freak told me; and sometimes, it works. Then it slips away.
For a while after Freak died, I went back to being the critter hiding out in Down Under. Then one day, it hit me, and hard. If I had died, I wouldn't want Freak to do what I was doing. I would want him to continue Freak The Mighty.
And that made all the difference.
I try to make Freak proud; maybe I'm even succeeding. I just know that Freak changed the way I saw things, and I owe him that much; to keep Freak The Mighty alive.

Forever
Forever 你 are mine
Forever I’ll be here
Forever is what 你 promised
Your 心 is worth nothing
But the your soul is priceless
Forever can be a long time
Forever can be a long time cut short
It’s worth the suffering
It’s worth the sacrifice
To forever be yours
Forever protected 由 your eagle like wings
Forever loved 由 your ocean wide heart
Forever 安全 in your warm embrace
Forever is worth the wait
To be sliced thin
To stuffed thick
Forever is Forever
Forever is Eternity
Forever is a risk
Forever is a chance
Forever is worth the wait

preface
if the one person 你 told the truth to all the time was now the one person 你 have to keep it away from, would you?
would 你 be able to lie through your teeth and pray that he believes you? what if he was the one person 你 told everything to, he was the one who keeps 你 from falling apart, but if 你 told him anything he might be the one to bring 你 tummbling down.
if 你 had to chose between lieing to him, hurting him, and keeping him away from you, what would 你 chose? because if 你 dont chose right, he may very well die.
