Then 你 wake up sick.
You're rushed to the hospital.
You're lest with no help.
You're poked and you're prodded.
It feels like hell.
你 wish it was over.
你 wish all was swell.
Finally it's over.
All test have been run.
你 hoped for the best,
so 你 can have fun.
You're stuck there for days,
before 答案 come.
They say 你 have cancer,
你 have to stay.
Days turn to weeks.
There 你 lay.
Misery comes with each passing day.
Hate comes in every way.
Now 你 wake up,
days after chemo.
Your hair lies around you.
No comfort 你 find.
你 can only hope.
Each 日 brings tears.
你 fight with your hardest,
but it wasn't enough.
In the end 你 lost.
But 你 learned alot more.
你 know 你 helpd others.

What is foreshadowing and why is it important?

I think that the most important lesson I learned from my mentor, 作者 Arline Chase, concerned foreshadowing. Here is the 随意 House Webster’s definition of foreshadow: to 显示或者 indicate beforehand. In other words, to provide some hint, clue, 或者 indication of something that is going to happen.

This is written about the perfect silence only found in the dead of night, and the feelings it inspires.
The 标题 comes from the 描述 a friend of mine gave when we were stuck in the middle of nowhere at midnight and I found it sort of beautiful.

Trapped in my own time chapter 5

I pull into the parking lot of the country council men office and get out. Hmm what should I do with Elliot? I can't leave him in the car he'll die of heat. I could leave the air on. Nah I'll just put him behind stage when I talk to the councilmen.
I pull out Elliot and put him over my shoulder. Everybody is strong in the future.
