-The 下一个 Day-
I peeked from behind the left corner of the school and saw Cameron carrying Mercury's book towards the school entrance. Perfect. I turned to Zoey and Francine, who were right behind me. "I'm ready. How do I look ?" I had on the outfit Francine picked out for me and the makeup Zoey put on me yesterday. My hair was in a french braid, courtesy of Zoey's mom.
"Beautiful", 说 Francine.
"I'm jealous", 说 Zoey.
"Thanks." I turned back to look at Cameron, who had probably forgot something because he was walking back to his car. "Wish me luck." I rushed towards Cameron. "Hey."
"Hey." He did a double take. "What happened to you?"
"Just trying a different look. Now that we're now dating anymore-"
"About that", Cameron began.
"Yeah?" My face lit up.
"Cameron!" Mercury came over to us. My face dimmed. "Did 你 get my-" She looked me up and down. "I see someone's trying the slutty look." She smiled an evil smile.
She's one to talk. I examined her 粉, 粉色 mini-skirt and 粉, 粉色 baby tee.
"Mercury!" Cameron looked at me apologetically. "Let's go." He and Mercury left.
I went back over to Francine and Zoey.
"How'd it go", they asked in unison.
"Let's just go inside." I turned to walk towards the entrance of the school. "I'm freezing my 屁股 off out here."
-Later That Day-
After returning home, I told Grandma I was going for a bike ride. Though it didn't matter since Gram wasn't speaking to me.
I rode my bike through town and noticed the moon. Full. I then rode into the swamp, unexpectedly of course. My nails turned to claws, my skin turned pale green, my outfit turned into a white gown, my hair turned into seaweed. My bike hit a loose 树 root and I went flying into the mucky, swamp water. "Gross!" I got up. The water was up to my knees. The pond was right below the moon.
All of a sudden the water began glowing. It
want a lighter shade of pale green, almost white. The water began bubbling. I looked around to see who was causing this. Then I saw it. The thing that turned my life into crap.
The sea witch that scratched me.
I tried to run to her, but the water was too thick. Then I felt a wave push me toward her. Am I doing that? Once I got close enough,
I touched her shoulder.
She quickly turned to face me, her eyes glowing red, and hissed at me.
I screamed and fell into the water. When I got back up, she was gone. The water turned back to normal. "Where did she go?" I managed to get out of the pond and made it back to my bike. I started walking back out of the swamp. Then something struck me in the back of the head. I blacked out.
When I woke up, I was tied up in a chair. I looked around and saw I was in a log cabin. The 火, 消防 in the fireplace was making the 舱, 小木屋 warm. So warm that began to sweat. I slipped out of the ropes and got up. I began walking to the door.
"Where are 你 going?"
I turned and saw the sea witch standing 由 an old stove. "You." I walked up to her. "You did this to me!"
"What are 你 talking about?" She was cooking something in the oven.
"You turned me into a sea witch! Remember, I was the girl with the camera. 你 scratched me!"
She frowned. "Oh yeah, sorry about that."
"Sorry? You're sorry?" I was in disbelief.
"Yes. 你 were in my personal 太空 and I got angry." She took some meat out of the oven. "Are 你 hungry?"
"No." I walked back to the door.
"Stay!" Her voice was different. It was low and growl-y. She grabbed my shoulders and dragged me to the little wooden 表 in the corner of house. "Eat!" She went to get a plate of meat and set it before me. "Eat!"
I took a tiny piece of meat and ate. I gasped. "It taste like a cream cheese and 果冻 bagel!"

"Andrew? Andrew? Are 你 okay?" Andrew hear Elizabeth's gentle, velvety voice as his consicness returned to him. "Hey honey, you've been asleep for awhile now." She seemed very concerned, considering she had only known him for a few hours. After the room stopped spinning, Andrew sat up and looked around. He was still in the hotel, but, he didn't recognize the room. When his gaze fell on Elizabeth, the room started spinning again. "So, when 你 said, "When I was alive." did 你 mean that you're a ghost?" Elizabeth's face was grim and solemn. "Yes. I'm a ghost." Suddenly, Andrew smelled cinnamon, honey, and something he didn't recognize. "Andrew I have to go. I'll be back tonight. 由 the way, call me Liz." She flashed him a dazzling smile, and she was gone. "Wow."
I make mistakes
I mess up
but it was nevr enough
I no longer cry for you
no 更多 pain
that means I will no longer stand it
你 took my 心 and ran it strait into the planet
now I'm taking control of this relationship
command it
that means I no longer die for
no longer cry for 你
no 更多 pain
but 你 always win
as th blood trickles down my arm
I wisper 你 name into the dark
Cierra
the pain I went through for you
no longer
is anyone out there
feels like I'm talking o myslelf
feels like I'm going insane
feels crazy
guess I keep talking to myself
why in the world do I feel so alone
nobody but me
I'm on my own
is there anyone out there
that feels just what I feel
guess it's just me.

Pride is a belief in myself (or someone else) that within me is something no one else has just like me. Pride can be a wonderful thing. My coaches are proud of me when I execute a 移动 perfectly. I am proud of my efforts when I get the right answer to a test question. However, pride can have a negative connotation. If I am prideful of my 唱歌 talent 或者 of my sports accomplishments, then I am not feeling the right kind of pride. Yes, I can be pleased with my abilities; but when I let it go to my head, then I am full of pride, just like Odysseus often was. 由 believing that I am the only person with that talent, I inflate my ego. I believe myself to be “the best of the best,” and this can damage my relationships with others. They would not want my company if the only things I spoke of were my own accomplishments.
Meghan ran to the bus stop, where she saw Pompika. Thankfully Pompika looked at her politely and 说 “You know I saw Reg but ya know, how she’s jus’ across the street, she seems a lil’ mad!” Meghan thought for a 秒 and thought ‘why lose Pompika?’ and said, “Geez I don’t know?” Now she wished she had told the truth, instead of lying. “Oh I wish ya did.” Pompika said. “Tsk-Tsk, bad grammar Pompi” 说 Meghan. “Sorry, fine I wish 你 did. There ya… 你 go” “Hhhmmm, nice save.” Meghan said. “Hey look, Reg’s a comin’” 说 Pompika. “Great that’s good… wait REG!!!” 说 Meghan. “What?” 说 Pompika. "nothing."
