The happy cherished life of Amanda and Karietta 爱情 were to be shortened. Amanda was only eleven, when she found out that she had to play the role of "Mother Figure". Mandy and Karrie's mother had died of a rare disease that was very uncommon in this 日 of age. It wasn't long before that their grandparents from both sides had died and a horrible tragedy had happened to most of their aunts, uncles, and cousins. Their father called it,"The 爱情 Family Curse." Their father was with them, until Mandy turned eighteen and Karrie turned five. No one knows whether he died 或者 disappeared, but he was gone. Mandy had to quit school, and become a mom, dad, and a sister to Karrie. She made sure that Karrie had a good 日 at school, that he lunch was packed, 晚餐 was made, and that she had a good healthy breakfast. She also had to learn from 图书 and computers so she can still have knowledge and education, even if it was unprofessional. Mandy had 迷失 all of her 老友记 and everything because they thought she had "changed" and got sick of them, but what those immature little brats didn't realize is that Mandy was a stay at 首页 mom/dad/sister. She wasn't even considered a teenager anymore. She was considered a responsible young lady that put her sister first. She made money 由 selling pop cans and helping neighbors for cash, since she still couldn't get a part time job and didn't try to dare to get a babysitter. She would rather trust a smart 小猎犬, 比格犬 to look after her sister than another teen 或者 young adult that has no experience what so ever. She was a grown up now, and did a good job of 表演 like one.

One night in the summertime, Mandy was asleep in her bedroom, as she felt Karrie crawl in beside of her. Mandy woke up sleepily and asked,"Karrie, what are 你 doing?" "I had a bad dream that the monster that killed Mommy and Daddy went after me." "For the last time Karrie. No one killed Mom and Dad! Mom was sick and we don't know if Dad's dead 或者 not. So go back to bed." "Can I sleep with you?" "Again? Karrie, we've had this talk-" "Please?" "Fine, but no kicking, hair pulling, 或者 humming. Goodnight." "Goodnight Sissy. Don't let the bad man get us." "Ugh, there is no....never mind, just go to sleep and dream of magical, soft, sparkly, 粉, 粉色 and blue 羊 that sing lullibies to 你 或者 whatever. Goodnight,Karrie. Go to sleep!" Mandy had to make sure that Karrie had a good night's sleep. Her nightmares have gotten out of control since their mother passed away. Mandy had also 迷失 most of her 爱情 and hope towards her father since he left, yet some nights she cries softly in her sleep, thinking what if she was wrong and something terrible REALLY did happen to their father. But other nights she really has no idea what on earth happened. Maybe there really was a bad man out to get them. Some nights, Mandy wishes to wake up and find out that this is all a horrible nightmare and that she'll wake up to find everyone here. Her dream is to wake up from this harsh reality and find herself with her mother and father, having an education and not quitting school to be a full time mother/sister/babysitter, to be a real teenager and have fun, knowing that the dark abyss of sadness and death is blocked 由 the force-field of 爱情 and joy. Mandy tried not crying in her sleep, she hated crying around Karrie.

The dark figure of Pure Evil crept into the house of the orphaned sisters. He went into the younger sister's bedroom, ever so quietly. No one. He walked across the hall to the older sister's bedroom and saw the two sisters in the same 床, 床上 together, protecting each other from the bad. He walked over and petted the young girl's hair and 说 in an evil quiet voice,"What a perfect specimen she is. I'll take her as my own and have her older sister wondering around the meadows to go insane and die." He took both of them without waking them, and took them away.
