Whatever 你 do, DON'T
1. Fuck up the traditional 吸血鬼 the way Stephenie Meyer did but rrespect their demonic side, their night creature lifestyle and the fact they should die in the sun (with exceptions of course like Anne 白饭, 大米 did that when they get old enough, they can survive it.) I also suggest 你 don't have any so called "vegetarian vampires" in your story, as we already have Louis de Pointe du Lac and that albino freak Edward Cullen and probably some others. It's old.
2.) As is also the vampire/mortal 爱情 story shit. DON'T create that into your story. However timeless the forbidden 爱情 theme is - the world will appreciate much 更多 something fresh and new (but that still won't disrespect the good oldies we love, in vampire case the traditional concept of a vampire.)

Also, I recommend not to make sex a big part of it at least not in the regular way. I think 吸血鬼 are sexual creature to a degree but it shouldn't be the same as with mortals. I'd say Anne 白饭, 大米 is one of the absolute best vampire authors to look up to even though of course new authors should not copy her but just look up to her as an example of a quality vampire literature and visions.

Religion belongs to vampire traditions but I personally am fed up of that which is also one reason why Anne 白饭, 大米 吸血鬼 偷了 my 心 as they are not afraid 或者 wounded 由 crosses and holy water and all that stuff. Again, the Hollywood cliche's are over-used. But of course it migt be nice to have a new quality story about 吸血鬼 with those cliches...

I suggest 你 study vampire related sites yourself and form your own vision of them 由 that. But stay away from Stephenie Meyer related sites unless they clearly have information on traditional 吸血鬼 too. Seriously, 你 don't want to 加入 her in the being target of hate and mockery 由 vampire fans.

In short, I believe, to succeed in 写作 an appreciatable vampire story these days takes originality but respect to traditions.

PS. Most 吸血鬼 DO have the fangs. It's part of the anatomy of a traditional vampire. The Twilight "vampires" are pretty much the only ones I've ever known not to have fangs and as 说 they're not traditional 或者 even close. They break all the rules.

i heard that most 吸血鬼 live in Transyvaina and on the first Sunday every 年 in the woods. And most 吸血鬼 don't have fangs as 你 read in Twilight.
