A little cry woke us both the 下一个 morning. "What's that?" I asked groggily. I checked the bedside clock. In my opinion, it was too early to get up. A 秒 cry joined the first, and yesterday came back in a rush. I bolted up in bed, and the rush of blood made me dizzy. "Oh!" I stumbled out of 床, 床上 and nearly tripped. Jake caught and steadied me. "The twins," I told him, pulling on my robe. "They're crying. Let's go." The twins had slept through the night, not making a peep. I guess it was time for that to change.

We went downstairs and Jacob found a box of baby formula that Aunt Alice must have stashed there a few weeks ago.
