I love Damonhe rules but I don't feel sorry for him nor would he want me too. It is a game to him and honestly it shouldn't matter in the end wwho wins becuase he dosnt love Ellena. Damon dosn't need her.

Are you people serious.Of course hes in love with elena its clear as day.elena knows how obsessed damon is with katherine but she knows they have a connection it might not be love yet(tv show) but its getting there.when she says we have connections she means her and damon.it has nothing to do with katherine.now he knows katherine never wanted him but he still loves elena

He is filled with such pain, passion, volnurablity, and the capibility to love, that he just doesn't know what to do with it all. I really wish that he & Elena would just get together already! I always feel bad for Damon, he's like a magnet for rejection. He gets hurt more than anyone, and his coping mechanism is to shut everyone out and isolate himself, at the same time as pretending nothing affects him. He suffers so much, but no one knows. That's why I feel bad for him. Everyone thinks he's some cruel masochistic, psychotic killer who doesn't feel, when really he's just a neglected guy who has been rejected by everyone he's ever cared about; his dad, Katherine, Elena, even Stefan has rejected him. I feel so bad for Damon. Everything he's done. He's done for love. <3

Yes, I do feel sorry for Damon. In so many ways. There is no question that he loves Elena. But unlike Stefan, Caroline or even Elijah he rarely tries to inhibit his anger. And that is the issue. But there are times that he has shown deep emotion and even concern. Like the time he and Rebeka were attacked by Rick in the storage facility. He actually put her safety above his own! I was stunned! And he has risked himself to save Stefan and Elena many times. And lets not forget. Unless I am mistaken Damon did not choose to be a vampire! Just imagine how bitter you would be if you were in his place!

Stefan is always the one who's picked over Damon. Katherine loved Stefan more, Stefan was their father's favorite and let's face it, Elena loves Stefan more for three seasons, can it really be over between them? So I do feel very sorry for him. Also, no one really likes Damon besides Elena because they think that he can't possibly change. He also never asked to become a vampire so let's not forget that Stefan forced him to drink. My final point is that everyone that thinks Damon's pure evil doesn't know his background. They seem to forget that he loved Katherine too and that he loves Elena a lot. Damon`s perfect match may or may not be Elena, but I do know for sure that he is a good person on the show and in the books and that he does deserve to find happiness.

Why? I get it that at the beginning everyone was choosing Stefan over him. Katherine, Elena, their dad, etcetera. But I really don't. Damon can be good sometimes when he isn't angry. When he gets angry, he gets scary and vicious. So yeah. I kind of wish that Elena didn't choose him of Stefan in Season 4. I am just so tired of hearing about them together. It's getting sickening.

Yes, poor baby. But at least now, he finally getting the recontion and respect and love that he deserves. And abouttime too, I was getting seriously tired of elena and everyone around her kissing stefans ass. Damon deserves this, he has really redeemed himself. And he adores elena. Oh to all you stelena and BAMON fans out there bitching about it. It's high time you all grew up, and excepted the facts. stelena is OVER and done with. it has been for a long time. And as for bamon? Well I can honestly say that there is no use wishing for that to happen. I mean, really??
