After a couple of days, Joan was discharged but they kept Sherlock in for 更多 observation along with Mycroft. As his brother slept, Sherlock couldn't help but blame himself. If he knew Moriarty was in 伦敦 his would never have come and this probably wouldn't have happened. Joan crept in along with this Joseph.
'Hey.'
'Hey.' She gave him a quick kiss. 'How are 你 feeling?'
'I'm fine, i don't know why...'
'It's just a precaution.'
'I know.. but i want to go 首页 with 你 and this little one. How is he?'
'He's good, feels so weird..I didn't expect to have him for another three months..and now..here he is.'
'Pass him here.' Joan gently handed Joseph over. She couldn't help thinking that he looked so perfect in Sherlock arms. 'How's Mycroft doing?'
'He's been sleeping alot.'
'Sherlock that doesn't mean..'
'I know.' He looked over at his brother. 'But what if it does?' At that moment, Someone had entered the room. Sherlock looked up the man. 'Father?' Joan quickly turned round. 'What are you..?
'Can't a father visit his sons?' He turned to Joan.
'Miss Watson, nice to finally meet you.'
'Same here.' He spotted Joseph.
'Is that..'
'Your grandson.' Sherlock handed him to his father. At that moment, Joseph woke.
'He looks...Just like 你 son, but he has his mother's eyes.' They hadn't noticed Mycroft had woken. He tried not make any noise as he wanted to see this. Joseph gave a weak cry. 'Ok..Here's mummy..' He hand him to Joan.
'Hey...You'll wake your uncle...Shhhh..' She took him outside. Sherlock didn't know what to say to him.
'Dad...I'm sorry..For...For not..'

'Of course.' At that point, Mycroft sat up in his bed.

'A little sore..but apart from that..i feel fine.'
'You've been sleeping..'
'Sherlock..Don't. How are 你 father?'
'I'm good..Just thought i'd pop 由 and see how 你 both were doing..and to tell 你 that 221B will be rebuilt as soon as the investigation's over.'
'Thank you..But when i eventually pass...I want Joseph to have it..But until he's old enough..Sherlock and Joan may have it..a little engagement present for 你 both.'

Moriarty was waiting for his informant. He needed to know if his plan worked.
'Sir..I planted the bomb on Holmes just as 你 asked.'
'And?'
'It worked. The flat blew up.' A grin came over Moriarty's face.
'Well done. Now we can begin.'
'Begin what?'

They boys spent ages talking to their father about all they've been through in the past year.
'So, Sherlock...When's the big day?'
'We haven't had time to plan anything just yet but... i want to marry her as soon as possible.'
'Good. I hope i get an invite.'

'You keep thinking about when your going to die..You shouldn't be. I will make sure your here for my wedding.'
'But what if i'm not? What if i die tomorrow? Then what?' Sherlock got out of his 床, 床上 and sat in front of Mycroft.
'Then...I will make a 烤面包, 吐司 in your honor. But until that time comes..You'll stay with me.. in New York.'
'No, i couldn't impose..'
'I insist. 你 can help look after Joseph and..Kick me up the backside when i'm being stupid... 你 my brother..I won't turn my back on you, not now.' They smiled at each other.
'Thank you.' Joan entered with Joseph.
'Hey, 你 guys behaving?'
'Always. I hope 你 don't mind but..I invited Mycroft to stay with us while he recovers.'
'That's great. I hope 你 know what your in for.'
'I do, a lot of yelling and screaming...and not just from Sherlock.' Joan giggled.
'Very funny(!)'
'I thought so.' Sherlock smiled and shook his head at him. He got up and went over to Joan.
'So when do 你 leave?'
'Tonight. We just popped 由 to say bye to daddy, didn't we?' Sherlock kissed the 最佳, 返回页首 of Joseph's head then kissed Joan. 'I'll see 你 soon.'

'Love 你 too.' He opened the door and waved her off. After a moment a nurse came in.
'So sorry to interrupt but visiting hours are over.'
'I'll be out in a moment.' The nurse left. 'So boys..Be good and look after each other won't you?'
'Of course.' He hugged his sons. He could tell Sherlock was awkward about it.
'Bye guys.' He left.
'So...that was...'
'Weird?'
'A bit.' Sherlock got back into his bed. 'Haven't seen him in..Years and now...'
'I know. But your both making an effort so..hopefully...things will only get better.'
'I hope so.'

Moriarty's car was making it's way around London. He knew what he had to do now...End Sherlock Holmes life...Starting with his family. He pulled up outside the hospital, got out of the car and made his way inside. He managed to sneak past the nurse and into the brother's room. He went over to Mycroft's drip but before he could do anything, he heard something click, he look over and saw Sherlock with a gun in his hand.
'Do they know 你 have that?'
'What do 你 think?' He got up out of the bed, keeping the gun pointed at Moriarty. 'Leave now.'
'I wonder..If 你 could pull the trigger before i interfere with your brother's IV drip?'
'I wouldn't recommend it..I'm a good shot.'
'But are 你 that good of a shot? What if 你 miss and hit your brother?' At that moment, Mycroft sat up and placed a scalpel to Moriarty's chest.
'You were saying?' Mycroft chucked Sherlock his phone and dialed Gregson's number.
'Captain..Yes we have some one here who 你 are dying to meet...i mean arrest.'
Half an 小时 later, Moriarty was in police custody. Gregson thanked them both and left to let them get some rest.
'Well done Shirley.'
'Same to you.' Sherlock layed back down in his bed. 'The nurse 说 we could go 首页 tomorrow.'
'To New York?' Sherlock turned and smiled at his brother.
