Team Rocket Week: The Many Mottos Of Team Rocket

Few things are as predictable in Pokemon (excluding Brock chasing after girls) as the Team Rocket Motto. Our 最喜爱的 villains will always appear at least once per episode and recite their infamous 格言 (usually before getting blasted away 由皮卡丘或者 another Pokemon). 你 know it's coming as soon as 你 hear that famous theme 音乐 signifying the "Prepare for trouble!" "And make it double!"

Team Rocket loves to pose and recite their bit of nonsense whenever possible, especially at inopportune times (like when they're attempting to sneak into a building). Meowth is skeptical of the motto's impact, but Jessie and James insist that it's necessary 由 saying things 'like their "fans" have to come to expect it'. Ironically enough, Ash, Misty, Brock, May, Max, Dawn, and others will patiently sit through TR's lines most of the time. 你 would think that after years of hearing essentially the same 格言 every day, they'd interrupt 更多 frequently. Also, guest characters will often exclaim "What was that all about?" as soon as the 格言 ends.

Not all Team Rocket mottos are the same. In many of the later episodes, Jessie and James begin their 格言 with something relevant to the situation. There are also some distinctly different variations on the familiar lines of the whole Team Rocket motto.

Normal Indigo League-Advanced Battle Motto

Rocket Cafe Motto

Jessie:Want a burger and fries without trouble?
James:If you're really hungry, make it double!
Jessie:To protect the world from hunger and thirst
James:Our 食物 isn't bad, at least not the worst
Jessie:The Team Rocket Restaurant, blast in for a bite
James:We stay open all day, we stay open all night!

Jessie's Hair 格言

Jessie:You insult my hair? Prepare for trouble!
James:It used to be there, but now it's stubble!
Jessie:To protect my head from humiliation!
James:Too bad her hair went on vacation!
Jessie:My gorgeous hair was my one true love!
James:They went together like hand in glove!
Jessie:Jessie!

Jessie:Now my hair's short, but it won't be for long!

The mottos are annoying, but they sure are catchy!
