Admit it: 日本 gets EVERYTHING first. Sometimes it's JUST NOT FAIR. So I made this 文章 listing the fair side and the unfair side of 日本 getting things first.
The Fairness
Obviously the fact that 神奇宝贝 was made in Japan.
Even adults in 日本 fuss about Pokémon. There's probably 更多 神奇宝贝 粉丝 in 日本 than there is in America. So 更多 people would be impatient in 日本 than there would be in America.
日本 is MUCH 更多 fun loving and active. I'm pretty sure there things go QUICK (including waiting time).
The Unfairness (aka the part I've wanted to express since I found out 神奇宝贝 came from Japan)
We can get VERY impatient. Right now some of us just want to run so fast we'll go into the future and see the release 日期 of M17 (either that or, like me, learn Japanese, 移动 to Tokyo, and go to the 电影院 and see it).
In Tokyo, there's a whole store dedicated to Pokémon. How much of that store do we have? Probably about 1/4.
日本 still has their 电影院 in CINEMAS, not a once-in-a-lifetime chance of seeing it on Cartoon Network 或者 go to the stores looking for the DVD only to find nothing. When was the last time WE had a movie in theaters? Hmm, let's see, probably 4 YEARS 以前 WHEN THE BW 电影院 HAD A COUPLE OF DAYS IN EXCLUSIVE THEATERS. If 你 don't include that short time it was THE FIRST MOVIE.

XY came out on the same 日 around the world apart from Spain, which, correct me if I'm wrong, got it either the 日 before 或者 the 日 after 9/13/13 because it was a holiday.
