Monique was looking out the window with a sign of sorrow on her face. It has been at least 3 years since she left New York to fulfill her dream in California to sing, but it felt like longer. She was a bit homesick, but she mostly missed Kowalski. Sure they talk on the phone from time to time when they're both free, but it's not the same.
