"Everybody in the HQ for a meeting!" Skipper shouted at the others, breaking the silence, "Except for 你 two." He pointed to the new arrivals.
Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, Private, and Marlene leaped through the foodbowl enterance, leaving the other two behind. They sat around the table.
"I like them," Private piped up, "Well, maybe not Nameless. But I like Camille!" an unsual dreamy expression crossed the youngest penguin's face.
Skipper frowned. "Private...?"
Private snapped himself out of it. "What?" He asked innocently.
Skipper dropped it.
"So what should we do about the new arrivals? 或者 should I say: 'Blowhole's spies?'"
Marelene sighed and rolled her eyes. She opened her mouth, but Kowalski cut her off.
"The chances are of Camille being a spy is appoximately 1.4 percent. The chances of Nameless... 95.7 percent."
"So we keep Camille and get rid of Nameless?" Skipepr questioned, "No, we'll just get rid of them both."
"Well, I don't think we should rid of them. Since Nameless is obviously a spy, we should get on Camille's good side. We should become 老友记 with her, until she finally spills and tells us what Nameless is up too. Camille seems to be very close to Nameless, so she will probably know everything she plans to do. But this will also mean it will be hard to make her talk. So it could take a while until she trusts us 更多 then her."
"Good plan, Kowalski. So this will be our 下一个 mission. Operation: Nameless!"
"And then once we find out about Nameless, we'll bring her down!" Kowalski 说 with a confident grin.
Rico giggled and choked up his flamethrower.
"Like I said, Rico, it may take a while before 你 get to use that." Kowalski 说 matter-of-factly.
Rico sighed and swallowed the weapon.
Marlene finally spoke. "Or maybe," She grinned with a 'are 你 guys crazy?!' glint in her eyes, "None of them are spies! Maybe... Nameless is just not open to other people! Oh my gosh, who would have thought of that?!" Marlene exclaimed loudly.
"Marlene, your sarcasm doesn't amuse me. Nothing about your tone is amusing. Except for your cuteness and unsofistication. That amuses me." Skipper 说 confidently.
"Hmph," Marlene crossed her arms and scowled.
A knock was heard from the foodbowl enterance.
"Are 你 guys done yet?" Nameless shouted.
Skipper nodded at Kowalski. Kowalski got up and scooted aside the foodbowl enterance. He got out and pointed a flipper towards the hole, signaling them to go in.
Camille and Nameless looked down the hatch. Nameless looked impatient as she leaped in. Camille smiled at Kowalski.
"Thank you. It was getting cold out here."
Camille climbed down with Kowalski close behind.
Skipper grinned at the newcomers.
"You guys can stay. Rico!"
Rico spat out TNT. He tossed it at the wall, and exploded on impact. After the debris moved aside, a small hole in the 墙 appeared, shaped prefectly like a bunk, placed to the side of the other bunks.
Private got a 枕头 and blanket and set them up in the new bunk.
Camille frowned.
"But there's only one."
Skipper smiled fakely and said,
"Oh no. I guess 你 can have that bunk, Camille." He glanced at Nameless. "And you'll have to sleep on the ground."
Nameless glared back at Skipper, realizing immediately what he's up to.
Camille seemed upset.
"No, it's okay." She turned to her companion. "You can sleep there. I'll sleep on the ground."
Nameless smiled at Camille. She walked over to her new bed, sat in it, and smiled smuggly at an unhappy Skipper.
The mission was off to a bad start.
"Private, could 你 fetch me a blanket and a few pillows?" Camille smiled at the young soldier.
Private's expression lit up.
"Yes, of course!" He slid over to the closet and grabbed a 床, 床上 set.
Rico cocked his head at the newcomers.
Even though the mohawk'd bird wasn't much of a talker, 更多 then what the other comrades think he knows runs through his mind at one hundred miles per hour.
Nameless was happily sitting in the bunk, and Camille seemed okay with sleeping on the ground. Rico guessed that this is what usually happens between the two. It seems like Camille would rather please her companion then be comfortable. Maybe Nameless was like her boss. Nameless is a spy, and Camille is a spy-in-the-making, but doesn't have the right personality to be one. She looks up to Nameless and wishes to be 更多 like her and worships her. And maybe she's even afraid of her. Perhaps she is being as nice as possible to Nameless to stay on her good side, because afterall, Nameless is a spy and could easily throw a 冲床 to get her way. Camille doesn't seem like the athletic type, and is physically weaker then the spy.
Rico's thoughts raced on and on.
Kowalski, who stood 下一个 to Skipper, leaned in closely towards him.
"I'm going to set up cameras while they're asleep," he whispered.
"Good thinking, Kowalski."
-----
It was 1:35 in the morning. The only light was the moon's reflection on the water which shone through the windows.
Kowalski got up quickly and quietly and tip-toed over to his lab. After closing the door behind him as softly as he could, he ran towards a cardboard box sitting in the corner. He heaved the box onto the table.
"Let's see..."
Kowalski tore open the box.
"Yes!" he shouted, a familiar twinkle in his eyes, "I've always wanted to use this!"
Kowalski pulled out several small video cameras. He made these a while back, but Skipper forbade him from using them, because he feared their classified activities would be caught on tape and would get into the enemy's hands.
Who these enemies were, Kowalski wasn't sure of. It could be doctor Blowhole, but knowing Skipper and all the hard-to-believe stories he tells, the soldiers may have way 更多 enemies then the lieutenant knows about.
Kowalski fiddled around with one of the cameras until a green light flashed from the 'on' button.
"Ah ha!"
The tall 企鹅 did the same procedure with the other cameras until all of them were in working order.
Kowalski, carrying the cameras in his flippers, exited the lab with caution. He set the cameras down and looked around the room for good places to hook them up.
His eyes landed on Nameless. She was sleeping soundlessly, her face buried in her pillow. He looked down at Camille, who appeared to be uncomfortable on the hard floor, but was sleeping just as well.
Kowalski's attention went back to the cameras.
Then a noise came from the bunks. Kowalski stepped back into a corner not to be seen.
Nameless sat up on her 床, 床上 and looked around. Kowalski observed she seemed anxious. Her 下一个 移动 surprised Kowalski. Nameless pulled out some sort of device out from underneath her pillow. Because of the poor lighting, Kowalski was unable to detect what the object was.
Nameless quickly pressed a few buttons on it's screen. She looked around the room once more. Her eyes went right past Kowalski in his hiding place. She tucked the device under her 枕头 and fell back asleep.
