Horror 02.07.16

“All right, team,” Skipper 说 into his radio. “Good work. I’m returning to HQ.”

After jumping down from atop the Zoovenir Shop, he started toward HQ after a long afternoon of surveillance. But prior to leaping into his habitat, a scream came from Marlene’s. Dropping the radio, he leapt into her habitat and dashed into her cave.

“Marlene!” he called. “What’s the trouble?”

Marlene stood on her bed, holding her Spanish 吉他 like a bat and scanning the floor.

“It was right there! I saw it!” she screamed.

Skipper, still in combat position, awkwardly scanned her habitat. There was nobody there except the frightened otter. “Saw . . . what, exactly?”

Marlene shifted as if she feared answering his 问题 更多 than what had originally frightened her.

“Uh . . .” she started, gripping her 吉他 tighter.

“Marlene?” Skipper inquired, relaxing his stance. He approached her. “Something’s obviously spooked you. What is it?”

Marlene timidly ran her paw along the neck of the guitar. “Well . . . there was . . .”

“Was . . .?” Skipper urged.

Marlene sighed, lowering her guitar. “A 蜘蛛 . . .” she admitted.

Skipper tried not to smile and cleared his throat. “A spider.”

Marlene rolled her eyes. “I don’t like spiders, okay?”

Skipper shook his head. “You don’t have to explain yourself, Marlene,” he said. “Where did it go?”

“I tried to get it myself, but then it . . . moved,” Marlene admitted quietly. “I panicked and got up here. I didn’t see where it went.”

Skipper searched the floor. “Well, it isn’t in this direct vicinity. Why don’t 你 come down from there?” he asked, offering a flipper. Marlene checked the floor over for herself before taking it and stepping down. She glanced at him and rolled her eyes as she folded her arms.

“Stop looking at me like that,” she said, looking down.

Skipper smiled. “Marlene, 你 don’t have to be embarrassed. There are a lot of people with a fear of spiders.”

“I don’t have a fear of spiders,” Marlene argued, shooting him a look. “I just don’t like how they look at me with their beady little eyes.”

“Okay,” Skipper said, holding up his flippers. “You’re not afraid of spiders. 由 the way, it’s right there.”

“Where?!” Marlene screamed as she dropped her 吉他 and jumped into Skipper’s flippers. She scanned the floor to see it devoid of spiders.

“I’m sorry, Marlene, I couldn’t resist just one,” Skipper said, laughing.

“Put me down before I strangle you,” Marlene said. Skipper set her down and she shoved him before turning away with her arms folded.

Skipper sighed and tried to meet her eye, but she turned away from him. “Marlene, I was just messing around.”

“Well, I didn’t find it very funny,” Marlene snapped. “If 你 think I’m a fool for being afraid of spiders, just say it, but don’t make fun of me.”

Skipper felt a pang of guilt and his smile faded. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that. It was insensitive. And I don’t think you’re a fool.”

Marlene scoffed. “Please.”

Skipper pressed his beak shut for a moment. “Hey,” he 说 softly, “look at me. Please?” Marlene sighed and looked sideways at him. “I’m sorry.”

Marlene studied him for a moment. She sighed again. “Fine. I forgive you, but . . . 你 just don’t know how it feels to have such a trivial fear that people would make fun of 你 for if they found out 你 had it.”

She watched Skipper as he broke eye contact and studied the floor.

Marlene’s brow pinched. “Do 你 . . . ?”

Skipper folded his flippers and shifted his gaze across the room. “No.”

Marlene put her paws on her hips. “You’re lying.”

Skipper looked at her. “I am not.”

“Then look into my eyes and tell me 你 don’t have a trivial fear of something,” Marlene challenged.

Skipper put his flippers on his hips. “Fine,” he said, looking dead into her eyes as instructed. “I . . . do not have a trivial fear,” he said, looking down at the floor through the last few words.

“Ha!” Marlene exclaimed, pointing at him. “You can’t do it. What is it?”

“Classified,” Skipper said, folding his flippers.

“Come on,” Marlene urged. “You know my fear. If 你 don’t tell mine, I won’t tell yours.”

Skipper studied her for a moment. “Fine,” he said, giving in. “But only because I hold the utmost confidence in 你 that this will not leave this cave.”

Marlene traced and X over her heart. “I 交叉, 十字架 my 心 and hope to die,” she said, holding her paw up with a satisfied smile.

Skipper nodded and narrowed his eyes. “Mm-hm. Yeah, you’re cute.” Marlene snickered. Skipper rolled his eyes and took a deep breath. “I . . . have a fear of, uh . . .”

“Of . . . ?” Marlene urged.

Skipper mumbled his response.

“Oh, come on. Just say it,” Marlene persisted.

Skipper groaned and threw his head back. “It’s needles, okay?” he said, looking back to her. “I’m afraid of needles. There, I 说 it. It’s over. We’re done. End of discussion.”

“No, no, wait,” Marlene said, holding up her paws. “Needles?” she repeated, genuinely shocked. “Of all things, you’re afraid of needles?”

Skipper, his flippers still folded over his chest, stared at her bitterly.

“I’m sorry,” Marlene said, laughing. “That was just completely unexpected.”

“So is your fear of spiders,” Skipper shot back.

Marlene shrugged. “Touché.” Then her eyes widened and she looked around. “Wait, where is the spider?” she asked, suddenly realizing it was still somewhere in her cave.

Skipper’s eyes widened as he saw exactly where it was—on Marlene’s back. “Uh . . . Marlene? How ‘bout stop moving?”

Marlene froze. “W-Why?”

Without taking the time to explain, Skipper grabbed the large 蜘蛛 from Marlene’s back 由 its abdomen. “Got it.”

Marlene turned to him and her eyes locked on the spider. She gulped as it wriggled its legs.

“That was . . . on m-me?” she choked.

“Well—” Skipper started, but he didn’t even get to finish before Marlene fainted. Skipper pressed his beak shut and looked at the spider. He frowned. “You really do have beady little eyes . . .”

[Skipper and Kowalski were locked in an intense game of checkers. Both of the opponents were equally matched. Kowalski was, of course, a genius but Skipper hadn’t made it this far with cheap strategy skills either. Skipper moves his black checker piece, it seemed like a good 移动 to him. He realized that it was the wrong 移动 though, when he heard Kowalski’s laugh of triumph.]

[Kowalski does a series of moves with his red checker piece that were as complex and impossible looking as would be expected...

Author's note: yes, i realize this story may be far-fetched, but this was one of my best ideas at the time, and i'm happy with the way it turned out despite my having no knowledge of how the actual voice actors act in real life, nor how they'd behave in a situation like this. This is my version of them, and my take on the show. I'm just here to tell my stories and do my own thing. if 你 don't like it, shaddap and don't say nuthin'. but if 你 like it, 由 all means, comment! I hope 你 enjoy this!

After a long 日 of training, dealing with Julien, and protecting the zoo, Skipper busied himself on a top-secret solo mission. . . .

“You think you’re smooth, Hans, but you’re not as smooth as me. Especially not like . . . this!” Skipper 说 to the mirror as he held the fake mustache to his beak. He straightened his cowboy hat and shined his sheriff badge. “Now, that’s what I call a rugged Belvidere if I do say so myself.”

Skipper turned at different angles to the mirror as he admired...

“Thanks for this, guys. I really appreciate it,” Max 说 as the penguins prepared to leave.

“No problem, Moon Cat,” Skipper replied. “We hope your new 首页 works for you. 你 know where to find us if 你 need anything.”

“Just across town,” Max replied affirmatively. “Got it.”

“Let’s head home, boys,” Skipper 说 as the four of them climbed into their 粉, 粉色 car. Rico pressed on the gas but had to brake suddenly when a 面包车, 范 zipped by, heading east.

“Whoa, they’re in a hurry,” Private observed.

“Wasn’t that a news van, Skipper?” Kowalski inquired....

Razor padded down the stairs and stared at the young penguin. "Hmm." He lifted him on his back and walked off.

Memory

Private ran around on the 爬坡道, 小山 giggling joyfully.

"Private could 你 come here for a second?" Blue called, shaking his head at the smaller.

Private squealed then ran back and wrapped his flippers around him. "You're warm big brothah."

"Close your eyes."

"Why?"

Blue laughed, "Well it won't be a surprise if I tell you."

Private pouted but shut his eyes. He was certainly surprised feeling his forehead being kissed.

"May 你 be smiled upon baby brother."

Private opened his eyes. "What was...

"Is he still in there?" Private asked, pacing in front of the door.

"...ve 你 Ami." Blue's voice sounded from behind the door.

"You too Blue kins." Ami's voice was next.

Private made a face.

Kiki walked into the main room, "There 你 are Private!" He came closer to the small bird. "Didn't your brother tell 你 to stay away from this door?"

Private didn't answer, instead he glared at the door. Kiki raised his brow then put his ear to the door. A few 秒 later, he scowled.

"Has a kid to take care of and NOW romance is 更多 important?" Kiki raced off to his room.

He ripped off the 项链 he was...

“No, Mort! 你 are so stupid-y! 你 can not just hop right in front of me like that when I am shaking my money-maker!” Julien snapped at the small lemur.

“But I wanted to shake my money-maker, too!” Mort protested.

“No! 你 do not have a money-maker! Only the king has the maker of the money,” Julien insisted as he dusted off his crown. “Also, I—”

“King Julien!” Maurice interrupted from the sidelines.

“Maurice!” Julien 说 angrily. “How dare 你 interrupt me when I am ranting!”

“Just look!” Maurice 说 pointing to the penguins’ habitat across the way.

“Hurry! Get him on the table! We’re losing him!” Kowalski commanded as he, Rico, and Private carried their leader into the zoo infirmary.

Rico and Private laid a bruised, scratched-up, and unconscious Skipper on the examination table.

“We’re going to need help!” Kowalski 说 setting to work assessing his wounds. “Private, go find some hands!”

“Aye!” Private acknowledged as he leapt from the table. He ran to the chimps’ habitat first.

“Mason! Phil!” he called in a panic.

Mason climbed down from his 树 with Phil following close behind.

“What’s the trouble, Private?...

Author's Note: Happy New Year! Here's the 下一个 chapter!

For the 秒 time that day, I woke up –this time with the smell of sardines. Private’s face was hovering close by, and that was the first thing I saw. “He’s awake!” Private yelled.

I held a flipper to my head and groaned. “Remind me not to spin my head like that again,” I said.

Rico smiled at me. He 说 something I didn’t understand. “Sorry,” I said. “What did 你 say?”

Private translated. “He says that you’ll get well soon.”

I glanced at Rico. He nodded in confirmation. Kowalski waddled over. “Perhaps...

The three penguins lined up in front of their leader. “Mission, sir?” asked Kowalski, saluting.
“Right,” replied his commander. “Years ago, I received a call of help from our cousins the turkeys.”
“The turkeys are our cousins?” repeated Private.
“Yes.”
Private’s face grew worried. “So our cousins are being butchered as we speak?”
Rico’s face, on the other hand, was disturbingly dreamy. Ignoring the look on Rico’s face, Skipper continued. “Like a fool, I turned it down.”
“Isn’t it breaking the 企鹅 code?” asked Kowalski.
Skipper glared at him....
