Chapter 1

    I sighed, ‘why is today so boring?’ I asked myself as a walked down the hall to Junior’s room. I could hear him laughing from where I was now. I open the door and see Skipper playing with him. “Hey,” he says, “Just wanted to spend time with Junior. Don’t worry, I didn’t make him fight any 太空 squids today, right Junior?!” he 说 while Junior laughed in his arms. I smile; nothing else could make my 日 other then seeing my son smile. “Oh, I just wanted to make sure that everything was ok.” I say as Skipper walks over to me. “Hey, I don’t know if they told you, but they went out to get something, but I highly doubt that they did go out and didn’t have fun.” Skipper 说 laughing. They meant Kim, Rebecca, Penelope, Kowalski, Rico, and Private. Often, they would leave and get everything that they would all need. But they never really actually did that without having fun first. “Pfft, so where do 你 think they went?” I 说 smirking. “Ha, maybe that club? But it’s so early! Everyone knows the best time is at night.” Skipper replied. That club was one of the best things in our lives. Parting all night long with my best friends, it makes me feel, normal. There were drinks at the club but only I, Skipper, Kim, Rebecca, and Rico would drink, although I hate when Skipper gets drunk. That one time was so bad; I couldn’t even be in the same room as him. Penelope, Private, and Kowalski well, they choose not too, although we mostly don’t let Penelope because if we can barley handle her now, think about her being drunk. “Maybe Skipper, but hey, the mall is always an option, Kim and Penelope drag Kowalski and Private all the time, and Rico and Rebecca? They are always in the arcade.” I 说 laughing on how they both hate shopping. “Then lets say that they are at the mall!” Skipper 说 while bouncing Junior.
    I smiled and walked over to my child. He smiled a smile that made me melt while his father smiled the same smile. I don’t know why I ever divorced him, that stupid Alejandro! (A/N: *smirks* I know who 你 are thinking of) I finally realized my mistake not long after I did, but it was too soon for me to tell him that I still 爱情 him. Private knew and did all he could for Skipper and I to be like we use to be. It never really worked out, but little 由 little we restored our friendship. But what always kept us in a way we could never destroy was our son. Junior held out his arms for me while I scooped him out of his fathers arms. I kissed his check and the smile I desired never faded away. “What an amazing mother 你 are.” Skipper 说 putting a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at him, those blue eyes while were so bright, stared into my heart. “Well he has a 《勇敢传说》 dad to keep him safe.” I 说 back. Skipper raised and eyebrow and smiled. He was the leader of his group and was part of the military. They signed up as back ups, yet they so wished that they would be a part of it sometime to 显示 how much they cared for America. As penguins, they use to save the Zoo from trouble and when he saved me from when I was a doll, they were the ones that built the plan! I know that the military would be proud to have them someday.
    Skipper hugged me from behind putting his chin on my bare shoulder. He had to bend down a bit to reach my height; if there is one thing I hate, its being as short as I am. All three of us swayed from side to side with Junior in my arms and Skipper hugging me. I thought this was the perfect moment. Then the door 钟, 贝尔 rang. Little did I know that the moment I opened that door, my life would never be the same, from that moment I was in now.
