One day, I noticed that my mother wasn't 表演 right. She was very pale and seemed lethargic. She also had a terrible cough. She went to the doctor and was diagnosed with pneumonia. She was later put in the hospital. The doctor 说 that things weren't looking good. It wasn't pneumonia; it was much worse. It was myocarditis. Suddenly, it happened. Her 心 stopped beating. The doctor tried to revive her, but to no avail. I still remember the chilling words like they were 说 yesterday: "Time of death: 11:32 pm." I did not want to believe I had 迷失 my mother. At first, I blamed the doctor for not recognizing the problem sooner. Grandma said, "Erin, the doctor did everything he could. There's no one to blame." I cried out, "So, I'm supposed to believe this is the will of God?!" She said, "Erin, recall that the Bible says that part of being a Christian is suffering." I said, "Really? Why did Mother have to suffer like this?! What did she do to deserve that?!" Grandma said, "Erin, the Bible says that all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God." I said, "You're saying Mother is in Hell, aren't you?!" Grandma said, "No, that's not what I'm saying, dear." I ran out of the room sobbing. I ignored my brother, Daniel, as he shouted, "Erin, wait! Erin!" He later found me outside the hospital crying. He said, "There 你 are, little sis." I 说 through tears, "Why, Daniel? Why did Mother have to die?" He said, "I don't have the answers, Erin. Grandma was trying to help, but she only made the situation worse. That was uncalled for. I know that's what the scriptures say, but that was not the time for it. You're upset." I asked, "What's going to happen to us?" He said, "It's going to be okay. Our aunt and uncle have been named as our legal guardians. They'll be taking care of us now." That was very perceptive for a fourteen-year-old. Still, things were never the same after that. Grandma and Grandpa told me, "Just pray, and everything will be okay." I prayed long and hard, but it didn't help. Suddenly, I felt as if I was wasting my time. The only thing that seemed to help was music. One day, I was hanging out with my cousin, Barbara Ann. She said, "I know you've 说 音乐 makes 你 feel better when you're feeling down. Here's some 更多 good 音乐 for you." She took out her iPod, and some great 音乐 played. "Hey, Jude, don't make it bad. Take a sad song and make it better." That sounded nice. I asked, "What's the song? Who sings it?" She said, "The song is called 'Hey Jude'. It was performed 由 a band called the Beatles." I said, "Nice." She introduced me to a couple of other songs. I said, "They're amazing! Are they still around?" She said, "No, they broke up in 1970." I said, "Rats! Are any of the members still living?" She said, "Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are the only ones living." I had 更多 questions, and I got 更多 answers. I said, "It would be awesome if they were all still alive and still together." She said, "Yes, it would be. We could have gone to a 音乐会 together." It was then I began to realize that God was distant from me, and 音乐 was closer.

Hi, everyone! Antonia here. As I'm typing this, where I am, we are less than one 小时 away from 2020. 由 the time most of 你 see this, it will already be 2020. Not only will we be in a new year, we'll also be in a new decade.

The 2010's decade was quite a roller coaster for me. It had its series of ups and downs. I 迷失 five 狗 in the 2010's: Diesel, Sadie, Fluffy, Stone, and Roxy. Diesel and Roxy hit me the hardest, to be honest. I also 迷失 my maternal grandparents, my paternal grandmother, and a friend from high school. On the up note, the ups outweighed the downs.

I do have a lot of good...

Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and I know a lot of 你 enjoy 阅读 my 粉丝 fiction trivia every year. I'll just get right to it.

1. Of my characters who are asexual, Paul is the only one who "came out" during the events of a 粉丝 fiction.
All the others "came out" prior to the events of a 粉丝 fiction.

2. Leila was actually named after my friend, Layla.
Their names are actually pronounced the same way. I just used a different spelling to avoid confusion.

3. New Religion's 小狗 and future mascot, Klondike, was named after the Klondike 金牌 Rush.
I wanted to keep up with the snow 狗 theme. Paul's Huskies,...

With their 圣诞节 album complete and such a big hit, and with their shopping complete, the members of New Religion were finally ready to finish decorating their house in Oak Ridge. Being so busy, they had only managed to get out their 圣诞节 树 and decorate it. Erin and Lola finished decorating the inside of the house. Paul and Carl decorated the yard. One day, one of their neighbors asked them, "Why don't 你 put lights on your house?" Carl said, "Well, there's a danger in that." Paul said, "We tried that once when we first moved here, and I fell off the roof." The neighbor said, "Oh,...

The members of New Religion went to the studio to begin recording their 圣诞节 album. They decided to put their spin on some classic 圣诞节 songs, just like John said. They even had Fritz play the drums for a few songs. When they recorded the song Paul wrote, "World Peace for Christmas", the band's producer, Andrew, was very impressed with it. He said, "That should be released as a single." Erin said, "I think that's a great idea. This will be perfect for a single." Shortly after the release of the song, New Religion heard "World Peace for Christmas" on the radio. Their 粉丝 absolutely...

The members of New Religion reached out to John, the lead singer of The Devil Wants Peace, for 建议 on making a 圣诞节 album. John said, "It's great that 你 want to make a 圣诞节 album. Making a good 圣诞节 album is about finding the right songs to record for your album." Paul asked, "How do 你 do that?" John replied, "You choose songs that 你 like that fit together on the album. 你 then put your own spin on it." Lola asked, "Does that mean 你 have to change the lyrics to some of the songs?" He said, "Not necessarily. Just choose songs that have the most meaning to you. You...

It was December 1. The members of New Religion were decorating their house in Oak Ridge for Christmas. Lola looked over at Klondike and said, "This is so exciting. This will be Klondike's first Christmas!" Carl said, "Yes, it is. I believe this also marks our third 圣诞节 in Oak Ridge." Erin said, "Yes. I can't believe it's been over three years since we came to Oak Ridge." Paul wasn't as excited. He said, "This is also our first 圣诞节 without Yukon and Nunavut." He sighed. Lola hugged him and said, "I know 你 miss your Huskies, but they would want 你 to enjoy Christmas." He said, "You're right. 你 know, I've been thinking that maybe we should do a 圣诞节 album. John and his mates do one every year." Erin said, "I like this idea." Carl said, "I do, too!" Lola said, "We should call it A New Religion Christmas." Paul said, "That has a nice ring to it, no pun intended." With that, they decided to reach out to John for guidance on how to make the perfect 圣诞节 album.
