To me it just always felt like he favored Peyton and Brooke over Haley. They felt more like the "main" girls.

I guess you can say that. It did seem like they had some of the better story lines.

Definetly. Before Lucas & Peyton left, Haley was a secondary character compared to Lucas, Peyton, Nathan, & Brooke.

Look at S6, Haley was basically a prop for other characters.

Definitely. I always thought that she got shafted, when it came to the decent storylines. She's always just kind of... been there. While Brooke & Peyton tended to always be in the spotlight with all of their storylines. That's one of the reasons I never really cared for Haley, I've always found her incredibley boring.

Except in season 1, where Peyton and Haley were the main girls (mostly Peyton), I totally agree: Haley was the least important of the girls

I dont agree at all, Haley & Peyton got their happy ending really soon, but brooke had to suffer thorugh 8 seasons.

What everyone else said. She is always just... there. Besides season 2 when has she really ever done anything? Idk I still love HJS =)

Because aside from her music everything else she does revolves around someone else. Even the whole naley getting together in season 1, which was more about nathan than haley, then it was getting back together with nathan in season 3, which again was more about nathan, and getting pregnant in season 4 which basically was about how nathan reacted, and before it was nathan it was lucas. And pretty much everything since season 5 has something to do with jamie and his activities or nathan and the little he does because he's way boring too. But Brooke and Peyton have actually storylines, several actually well haley just doesn't, even now when there isn't anyone hardly on she still doesnt, lol.

I was really pissed when he treated her like a secondary character in S6. Maybe this is the reason why I kinda liked the later seasons, which are unpopular because Haley finally got some attention. And I think Joy is the best actress..so...
