Changes in OUAT and fan's wishes - my opinion about this

What i don't like about Adam and Eddy, is that they're always granting a fan's wishes. First of all, 粉丝 weren's so happy because Regina was so evil in S1. Bam! In S2, Regina is a goodie and a hero. Then, they hated Cora and wanted her to die. Few episodes later, Cora dies in Regina's arms. Also, they were so annoyed about Greg and Tamara, then in S3, both of them are dead (I also didn't liked them, but that is not a reason to killed them just like that , especially Tamara - I know she was a bitch, but she was a good villain, just like Cora. Just because many of 粉丝 didn't like her, doesn't mean they should killed her with a simple death) Charachter is a charachter. Either 你 like him 或者 not. And if you're not lining him, doesn't mean he shouldn't be on a show.
Let's not forget, how 粉丝 attacked Micheal (Neal). He was suppose to be Emma's 爱情 interest in season 2. But, a lot of 粉丝 wanted Hook to be Emma's 爱情 interest, so writters created a 爱情三角形, 三角 in season 3.
Many of 粉丝 wants for Regina to be 老友记 with Emma and a Charmings. People, Regina is The Evil Queen! A legendary classic villain. It doesn't make sense to me for her to be a goodie and 老友记 with her enemies in original story. (I mean, can 你 imagine Maleficent to be 老友记 with Aurora, 或者灰姑娘 to have beautifull scenes with her step mother who ruined her life,.. NO! It doesn't fits to the story, just like it doesn't fits for Evil 皇后乐队 to be 老友记 with Snow's family)

Also, this 显示 becomes so predictible. I hope those writters create a new events and stories in season 3, that we didn't see coming.

I know they don't wanna disspoint their fans, but if they keep continue to granted a 粉丝 wishes, then this 显示 won't make any sense.
Let's compare season 2 of OUAT with a 迪士尼电影院 and classic fairytale, and you'll see what i'm talking about... It's like i am watching Spanish tv series

zanhar1 I wouldn't call Gina a goody hero, she tried, it didn't work. As for Tamara, I know she was killed of because her actress got a lead role in The Walking Dead, so they let her leave the Once set. I feel like if Eddy and Adam always listened to the fandom Regina would be a lesbian; a lot of people on tumblr seem to want it that way. But I don't think they are going to do that. But I do agree I hope they don't add Captain Swan. I personally want her to befriend the Charmings so I can finally have a favorite character with a happy ending...who isn't dead. The bad guys always die, and I don't want that for Gina.

magichand Well, i belive Regina can have her happy ending without being friends with Charmings. But that is my opinion.

bri-marie Couple of things: 1) Adam and Eddy don't do things in the show simply because the fans want them. There are other factors coming into play. Actor/resses schedules (as Zanhar mentioned), tying up loose ends and moving the plot forward. Greg and Tamara were loose ends. Now that we know who the home office is, there's really no point to the characters sticking around. 2) For every fan that likes Regina, there's at least one fan that doesn't.. Adam and Eddy didn't put Regina on this redemption arc because [i]some[/i] fans wanted it. They did it because it furthered the plot (it wouldn't have made any sense for Regina to jump aboard the Jolly Roger if she wasn't trying to change), and because having the same person be the bad guy over and over again has proven, 100%, to loose fan interest. And 3) Adam and Eddy [i]do[/i] have to placate the fans (to an extent). If the show has no fans, the show gets no ratings (or at least not high enough ratings for the network to keep it on), and there is no show.

Alchemistlover I don't think they always cater to the fans wishes actually like Zanhar1 said if they did that SwanQueen would be canon

minervadawn I agree they do pander to the fans a touch to much for my taste. However I don't think they have ever killed anyone off just because the fans don't like them. Cora was never meant to stick around for long. If you look at the episodes she is in she is created as a guest star every single time where as Colin (Hook) is credited as a starring role right of the bat. Tamara and Greg always stuck me as a means to an end. The writers created them for the singular purpose of getting everyone to Neverland. Once they had served their purpose they were no longing needed so the writers deposed of them. I am not very happy about this ether. I think is is lazy and sloppy and could have been done better but I don't think it was done just to appease the fans.

zylice @Magichand: Well, this show isn't supposed to be "classic Disney." Even though Gina *was* the Evil Queen, it doesn't mean that she can't become "friends/frenemies" with Emma. I know she will NEVER want to be friends with Snow & David! ;P And even though she did "bad" things in both of her lives, she was "good" and she wants to be that "good, hopeful, happy" person that she was. For her eventual {hopeful} happy ending, she will continue to mend her relationship with at least Henry {and Emma} so she can have him visit her sometimes. And no, she's not a "goodie" she is mainly a "baddie" who wants to be a "goodie" so she's therefore an "anti-hero" even though she sacrificed herself twice. I'm extremely proud of her for going out of her comfort zone and trying to be civil towards David, Snow and Emma before Cora came and "reverted" her. I really do want to see her on the "good" side someday instead of "anti-hero, but I still totally love her as an "anti-hero" with layers, emotion, depth....and yes, SASS! XD *^_^*

magichand Season 2 of OUAT got lower ratings this year, because many of fans stoped watching the show. I think it is not okay to play with a disney and fairytale icons, just so that they make fans happy. I do hope they will fix show in season 3. Last episode (3x01) was great. (i see many of you disagree with me, but i don't care. I will always spread my opinion whatever i feel about something)

zanhar1 @magichand It's cool. We all have her own opinions. To be honest I just want her to be happy, I don't care how at this point.

bri-marie Wait... wut? You claim the writers are catering to the fans, but then say that the show is getting lower ratings. Well, obviously, is the writers are actually doing what the fans wanted, the ratings wouldn't have dropped. Also, the entire first season was playing changing the Disney icons (fun fact: Disney didn't follow the traditional fairy tales. Once actually follows the original tales more closely than Disney did.) So, if "changing" the fairy tales is the problem, the show wouldn't have made it to the second season, because people would have stopped watching during the first season.

merdziiikaa Yes, I agree. This Captain Swan thing is annoying me the most. -.- Love triangles never turn out good. Though I partly agree with zanhar1 too. If they always listened to fans, Regina would be with Emma by now. xD At least it would be more interesting than seeing Hook with Emma. Or make Hook hook up with Regina at least? :D And I don't see the point in seeing Regina become friends with Charmings. I think considering them allies is enough. :) Oh regarding Tamara and Greg.. I always knew they'll die at some point so that didn't surprise me nor anger me at all.

magichand zanhar1: i don't wanna fight with anyone. Really. People, you don't understand what i'm saying. I am trying to say, that Adam and Eddie are running out of ideas, and they are more focused on fan's ideas and wishes. And because, writters don't have any brillant ideas like they used to have in season 1, that is why show gets lower ratings. Everything is so predictible. That is why i wrote, that i hope that writters will create another awesome ideas. Sorry if you didn't understand the artickle.

DR76 Why was Tamara especially a villain? If you're going to label her a villain, you might as well do the same for Greg . . . at the same level. Why she is more of a villain doesn't make sense to me. Unless there is a personal reason why you want to consider her more of a villain. But for me, it is obvious that both Tamara and Greg were victims of Peter Pan's manipulations. Nothing more, nothing less. I hated that Horowitz and Kitsis killed them off so quickly. And I especially hated that fans cheered Tamara's death at Rumpelstiltskin's hands, despite the fact that she genuinely expressed remorse for her actions. Also . . . rewatching Season 1 made me realize that Horowitz and Kitsis had no intention of her remaining as some one-dimensional villain. Why certain viewers want her to remain a one-dimensional villain escapes me. One would think they would appreciate characters who are complicated.
