I can't seem to get drunk on this shit." Sam planted his head in his hands and sure enough there was the grumbling of the local loyalists. The man was so big fighting him would be suicide, added to the fact that he only had one eye and....Steven started laughing and pointing at the man's odd hair style. Sweet Jesus! Sam stood up and opened his mouth to apologize only to get back handed, but not 由 the insulted man but Steven. Steven smiled this is what he'd been waiting for. Someone strong enough to tussle with and be sure he wouldn't kill him in the process. "You're big enough to handle what I can dish out that's for sure." Steven let his grin widen till it hurt. He turned to go, and Steven went wild. Sam woke up just as the man clocked Steven and then turned to go only to see the idiot take a flying kick at the man's back which only made one eye sidestep and watch him fly passed him. Sam's foot ended up in the 墙 and him struggling to free it. The one eye stopped at him. "What are 你 looking at 你 freak!" Steven yelled at him. 由 this time the whole bar was silent and expecting a final hit 由 the insulted man. Instead, the man laughed and easily took Steven's foot from the 墙 without further damage.
"Name's Kenpachi. From the way you've been drinking it sounds like you're having a bad day."
"As if 你 could help." The one-eyed Kenpachi chuckled.
"Let's go back and let me pour 你 some of that bottle."
An 小时 went 由 Sam remained sober while the two drank deep of the bottle. "That bastard Voro kidnapped my woman's girl and now he wants her instead! He can't have her! She's mine.... 或者 will be when I propose." Sam groaned. "I told 你 she doesn't date, man 或者 woman. Her family is all that matters to her. Please forgive him."
Kenpachi frowned. "Still, it would seem a matter for the authorities instead of two men." Steven chuckled. "We are the authorities from America. Voro not only kidnapped P.B. but he nearly killed one of Jamie's tenants in her building. Plus, his crazy sister killed her whole wedding party and then bathed in their blood. Like out of some horror flick, we figured she'll 显示 up sooner rather than later. We just need to catch him in something here to ensure the local government's help in kicking his 屁股 back home. Of course, do 你 know of any abandoned airstrips around? If we could find his private plane, I'm sure there'll be enough there to get the government to kick him back to us. Maybe even find and capture his sister. " Kenpachi thought about it and he did know of a few. "I tell 你 what, 你 help me I help you. Deal?" Sam opened his mouth to caution Steven who gripped the man's burly hand and nodding. "Deal. Now what problem can we help 你 solve?" Kenpachi told them of the missing people not only in the living realm but of his own. "Sounds like traffickers."
Kenpachi nodded. "That would make sense, but whole families. No ransoms, no signs of them anywhere." Sam frowned. "Who are you? Some private PI? 或者 some family member of the missing?" Kenpachi shook his head. "Just a concerned citizen." Sam squinted and shook his head. There was something not right with this one eye. Something off. "Steven don't trust him, somethings not right with him. " Steven motioned for the waiter to serve 更多 beer. "No Steven no more. We need to go. Jamie maybe in trouble. Especially with the reward he's placed on her head. The whole damn country will be after her."
Kenpachi poured himself a drink. "I can help with that. I can 移动 a lot faster and go places 你 can't. I can even protect her better than any of 你 could." Sam snorted. "That is impossible. Not even whole armies could do better than she can 由 herself. No, it's just the annoyance of the circumstances she finds herself in. She just hates having be made a public spectacle. Too much press." Kenpachi absorbed the information. "It seems 你 know her well."
Sam choked on his words. "Well, she offers her services to the police. She's a therapist. That's how Steven met her." Steven nodded. "Yeah, got hurt on the job and they suggested I go to a massage therapist. Sam 说 she was the best, so I went and she's a damn miracle worker." Sam sighed. "Should have kept my mouth shut and none of this crap might have happened. 或者 at least not his part, which I could have done without."
