Chapter Two, A 日 At The Lake.


"So Zim, Jen asked 你 to come to the park with her? That's nice of 你 to go with her. 你 and her both need a friend." Gaz tells me as I walk her home. "Yup, I'm supposed to meet her at the lake in the park at 4:00 today." "Well, 你 better be nice to her Zim, she really needs a friend. You've seen how she's been all week. Even Dib tried to talk to her, but she just freezes up, starts blushing, and quickly says she has to go. You're the only one who she's talk to, which must mean she wants to be your friend." When we reach her house I give her a goodbye kiss. "Well, goodbye my beautiful Gaz flower. I'll see 你 tomorrow." She smiles, tells me goodbye, and she kisses me on the cheek. As I walk down the 街, 街道 I look at my watch. It's 3:26. I better head for the park, don't want to keep Jen waiting.

As I reach the lake I see Jen laying under a tree, she was drawing in a sketch book. I wonder that she is drawing? I sneak up on her and peek over her shoulder. She was drawing..... Bigfoot? God, she's weird. She's like a girl version of Dib... but she isn't as annoying. Actually, it was a pretty good drawing. She seems to have a talent. "You draw really good" She jumped clear in the high as I 说 that. "Dang it, Zim!! Don't sneak up on me like that!!" She smacks me with her book "If 你 do that again 你 will be sorry!" Oh my, now she's turning into Gaz. She's quite an unusual girl. I laugh "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to see what 你 were drawing." Great now she's glaring at me. "All 你 had to do was ask and I would have shown it to you. 你 didn't have to give me a 心 attack Zim!" "Ha Ha ok, 下一个 time I'll ask." I sit down beside her and look out at the lake. It is quite pretty. The lake is all red and 橙子, 橙色 from the sun set. I look at Jen. She does look rather pretty even with hair looking like it hasn’t been brushed in weeks. She sees me staring at her. "Why are 你 looking at me like that Zim?" "Oh, it's nothing... it’s just you... 你 have a bug in your hair." I 拍击, smack, 味道 her head. "There... I killed it" She stares at me for a moment then starts laughing. "God you're strange Zim. I like that about you."

As I walk 首页 I think about what Jen 说 to me. She 说 I was strange... but that's why she likes me. Do I really have a friend now? Does someone finally want to be my friend? I-I think I may give her a chance... and try to be her friend too.
